I met a person who called themselves a hobby parent because they just had one child and I thought that was funny. I have two kids and after they fight I force them to say one thing they genuinely like about each other. Being ‘funny’, or ‘kind’ are the two most common responses. Before I had any kids I was a teacher and when I was pregnant one of my students told me that the child would steal my energy and make me into a raisin. I now know this to be true. My pots are siblings and they are talking to each other.

Hey friends! I know that when I started shipping pots out to shops I found it stressful and it took me a bit to feel like I nailed it. Here is what I do now. I try to be as cost effective as I can for my retailers. (And put as many pots in a box as will safety arrive). I swear by Canada Post and you should too. If you have any questions about this stuff feel free to reach out. I have the shipping confidence now.

Can’t describe how much it means to me to be able to come out of the woods and hang out with the best people for a weekend twice a year. Nothing to report except that March break is very long in BC. Parenting an 8 and 12 year old is weird because they are sort of independent but also they’re really not and they do not like any of the same activities or media or food or have the same friends and mostly they want to exist in separate galaxies from each other but they want their mum in their galaxy at the same time and why is it raining every day?!????
