Just like that, another volleyball camp in Smithers has come and gone.

Working with the athletes in the North and connecting with the community nourishes my soul as a coach. The gratitude I feel from everyone is incredible and I am grateful that you have let me be a part of your volleyball experience.

I love seeing how much the athletes that attended the first camp last year and the camp this summer have improved since the last time I worked with them.

It was great to see so many familiar faces as well as meeting a lot of the new athletes that attended. The interest for the sport is steadily growing in the North and it’s exciting to be a part of it!

We’re working on bringing new opportunities to the athletes and coaches in the North and I am thrilled to share about them when they are finalized.

Thank you to all of the coaches, parents and school district employees who do so much to make these opportunities possible.

Thank you to the athletes for coming out and being open to learning and trying new things. Your enthusiasm and energy makes it incredibly rewarding to me as a coach. I loved getting to interact with you all.

Time for a much needed break before I jet off with the WolfPack Men’s team to play and train in Arizona before getting back to the final stretch of the season with both them and !!

When I launched Reality in April 2021, I was open and excited about the journey we were about to go on together. The reception from people was better than I anticipated and the first round of Athletes I worked with were incredible. I went really far out energetically and it all collapsed in me because I didn’t do enough foundational work to hold what it was asking me to.

See the thing about programs like this, they work you as much as the holder as much as you work with the people in the container.

I couldn’t create anything from this space because I needed to put the attention on myself and what my body needed for support. Anything I would’ve tried to produce from this place wouldn’t of been true and I cannot teach athletes to not be extractive with their resources if I do not have my own practice around it.

To be honest, the underlying thing was that I was scared. I can feel how big Reality will be. How necessary it is for sport - how deeply people desire this. The fear was stepping out of my comfort zone that kept me small. My system knows the pattern of compression really well. But am I willing to take the steps to break that cycle?

How much will be required of my system to hold a program like this?

Am I willing to do the work to nourish myself that will support me am as I back the truth of how it wants to unfold?

I could spin logic in my head for days, weeks, months. Trying to view all sides and justify decisions. To make sure everything is perfect before taking the next step.

But we all know perfection is bu****it anyway.

The truth in my body is simple and clear.

Yes.

I am ready to start taking those small steps. To be on the bunny hill of the process as Reality unfolds.

To trust all of it because even if my mind does not agree, even when it’s uncomfortable.

It is all perfect when you just follow truth.

For those of you that have been here since the beginning, thank you.

For those who are new, thank you.

There are some exciting paths Reality is unfolding in to and I cannot wait to share it all with you.

Hey Smithers!

I’m coming back and I am bringing a WolfPack camp with me.

We are excited to host the first WolfPack Camp in Smithers August 22nd - 25th at Smithers Secondary School! Hopefully this will turn into an annual event.

This is great opportunity to come out and brush up on your volleyball skills before school starts. A chance to learn from high level coaches and players.

This camp is coed and welcome to all skill levels! Each player will receive a WolfPack T-Shirt and a chance to win some prizes.

Had a great time the last few days coaching for at the U16/17 Red and Blue Team BC tryouts!

Last time I helped out was in 2019 and it felt great to be back in the gym with all of the young up and coming female athletes.

This team was such a joy to coach in the tournament. Great attitudes, talent and a never say die attitude. They all bought in and played as a unit which was amazing to be a part of. Especially when they had only just met.

We ended up coming 3rd which was the highest I’ve ever finished in the tournament on the girls side.

Can’t wait to see you all on the court again soon! ❤️

Is it in Service or is it Serving You?

That question will be my biggest practice with holding the container of Reality Player Performance.

Are the choices I am making in reverence to being in service to sovereignty?

Or am I making these decisions and judgements based on serving my ego?

When Reality first started to make an appearance, my ego ran with it and started to fantasize about all the ways it could serve it.

Money.
A Big, Recognized Brand.
Entitlement.
Fame.

The list goes on.

Think of Scrooge McDuck swimming through his vault of gold in Duck Tales.
That was my ego basking in the glory of the fantasy.

But underneath all of that, there was something deeper.
Something that felt richer than the picture my ego had painted.

So instead of getting wrapped up in the fantasy, I slowed down.
My ego thrashed.
I slowed down even more.

I strongly believe that the universe only gives you what you are ready to receive.

I didn’t have the capacity to hold Reality yet.

I stayed committed to my growth. To keep slowing down and surrendering to the journey and all that wanted to move through me which helped to increase my range.

Reality started to become clearer as the months passed.

I remember how it felt when the name came through.
All the names I had been considering never felt right.

I had just gotten off a Coach the Coaches episode where Coach Karch Kiraly was the guest. I was sitting with the things he had shared that really landed for me and then...

REALITY PLAYER PERFORMANCE.

The name appeared like a gr***de. It disarmed and steadied me with how right it felt in my body.

A few weeks later I started to go down the rabbit hole of doubt.

My feminine set her whiskey down, stood up and gestured to her chair:

“Sit down. Shut up. Have a drink and listen to me babe.”

She laid out everything that Reality embodies.

She showed me how big this can get as long as I’m willing to be present and have trust in the process.

After all of that, she made something very clear:

Reality is an Embodiment of Me.

The trust in I have in the process of my growth will be a direct reflection of Reality’s growth.

Because I believe that as a coach, I’m in service to something greater than what my ego desires.

I’m in service to sovereignty.
My athlete’s sovereignty and my own.

To see them in their human. To understand that the athlete is just a small part of them and I care about their development as a whole.

And that gives me greater wealth returns than my ego could ever provide.
