If you want to get your hunting license before the 2026 Fall hunting season begins, come join our class taught by our very own, Randy Lee. As a federal conservation officer and an experienced hunter himself, there are few others better suited to teach you the ins and outs of the BC Hunter CORE course!

We’re coming to Smithers! We have 2 CFSC/PAL courses running back to back on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 at the Bulkley Valley Rod & Gun Club. Each PAL class is 1 day long and dates are available on a first come first served basis. $200+GST. Registration is available on our website. Ages 12 & up! ***CORE Challenge Exams are also available by request, get in touch with us to get you set up!***

We have some spots available for our PAL (CFSC) and RPAL (CRFSC) classes in New Westminster coming up on March 28-29.

Come learn how to handle fi****ms the safe and legal way. Register online while there are still spaces available!

Another great hunting season so far for us at Recon, filled some tags and cancelled some flights 🦆. Trying our best to get the next generation involved to enjoy and protect the amazing opportunities we have as BC Resident Hunters.

If you have the opportunity to take a kid out hunting or fishing, JUMP ON IT! Its probably the most rewarding thing you’ll do in the woods.

Kids aged 10+ are eligible for the BC CORE course and kids aged 12+ are eligible for their Junior PAL. Whether you’re a seasoned hunter that wants to start bringing a youth on your adventures or you have no experience hunting or shooting and want to create a bond and explore something new together, we got you covered.
