Recon Fi****ms Training offers the Canadian Fi****ms Programs Non-Restricted (NR) and Restricted (R) Courses. We’re coming to Smithers! We have 2 CFSC/PAL courses running back to back on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 at the Bulkley Valley Rod & Gun Club. Each PAL class is 1 day long and dates are available on a first come first served basis. $200+GST. Registration is available on our website. Ages 12 & up! ***CORE Challenge Exams are also available by request, get in touch with us to get you set up!***

Another great hunting season so far for us at Recon, filled some tags and cancelled some flights 🦆. Trying our best to get the next generation involved to enjoy and protect the amazing opportunities we have as BC Resident Hunters.
If you have the opportunity to take a kid out hunting or fishing, JUMP ON IT! Its probably the most rewarding thing you’ll do in the woods.
Kids aged 10+ are eligible for the BC CORE course and kids aged 12+ are eligible for their Junior PAL. Whether you’re a seasoned hunter that wants to start bringing a youth on your adventures or you have no experience hunting or shooting and want to create a bond and explore something new together, we got you covered.

Blessed with another successful trip this year. It’s been a while since I’ve been able to cut my mule deer tag. Feels good to get back on the board with this solid 2 point. Thanks to and for the assist. Now to set my sights on a mule doe LEH. Time to get the freezer restocked!

We provide the Non-Restricted and Restricted Fi****ms and ammo, you just show up and have a good time.
This is your chance to try out the different types of fi****ms available in Canada, and some that aren’t 😏
Group rates are available. PALs & RPALs are NOT required as shooters will be under direct supervision of our Instructors on a private range. Come have a BLAST!
