Good evening everyone.
If you all remember, last year we worked diligently to get our ranges up to date for our impending range renewal inspection & certification, which took place last fall. Since then, we've been working with the CFO (Chief Fi****ms Office) to fix certain deficiencies in order to pass. While we have nearly completed all of that, the official range inspection report just came in tonight, and there are a number of additional items we will need to rectify. These additional items largely come from the results of a new computer system the CFO now uses which reviews and calculates data input from laser & GPS measurements taken on the range during the physical inspection. These measurements are extremely accurate down to the inch, and this has identified most of these new deficiencies (i.e. area's of berm height that do not exceed minimum height requirements, etc).
This being said, the HARTMAN BLACK POWDER TRAILS are PERMANENTLY CLOSED.
Additionally, the following ranges are TEMPORARILY CLOSED until all deficiencies have been rectified in their entirety, which I will add that we are working on already:
Hartman Action Bay 1
Hartman Action Bay 2
Hartman Centerfire 100m & 200m Range
ALL Blackwater Action Bays
The Board is meeting on Monday, May 11th and will be reviewing the entire action plan on getting everything reopened ASAP. We are already in talks with a contractor to begin work.
We do want to reiterate, that we will be getting these ranges reopened ASAP, and the moment each range is approved we will be notifying everyone.
Thank you.

Do you use low velocity fi****ms? Or use them with your kids? Airsoft, pellet etc? You need to familiarize yourself with the new rules coming October 1st, 2026.

October 1st will bring big changes to fi****ms in BC. Although the had “consultation” with clubs this has gone mostly ignored and will have significant negative impact on all firearm clubs. We will be reviewing all the final legalize and working on how this will change the operations of the club moving forward.

Sent to jail again and released on bail. In an attempt to follow the rules we have abbreviated our name. 😡. Like certain government policies, it doesn’t matter how much good you do, behave or comply. If they decide you are not “suitable for the general public”…..🤷🏻♀️
