I could not be more proud of my two students this past weekend at the Fall Classic show. Michelle showed Wild Card for their first ever show together and won their dressage division! Millie also showed her mare Zena for the first time in dressage, English pleasure classes and X-rail hunters and came home winning Jr equitation and many other ribbons!
They also both won the Natures Pantry sportsmanship prize:) Way to go you two!!!

This lovely pair were on parade Saturday! Adelai with her jousting mount Wild Card had a great time at their first fall fair together. Beautiful turnout with special thanks to her super mum…well done England’s!

Michelle got her best scores to date on June Bug. These two surpassed some big goals and continued to improve with each test. Congratulations Michelle on a fantastic fall fair show!

While unpacking my valuables last week I found this photo. This is the horse that started it all for me:) Zeb ~ a beautifully kind horse I got to ride at a horse camp I begged my mum to take. He was owned by Tina Hackle and where I first met her sister Chrystal who have both become friends. Chrystal has also been a special mentor to me. I never knew how this day would shape my life and how important connections cross again in our paths when we need them. So many life lessons have been taught to me through horses and so many precious memories made. ~ Chrystal and my mum are in the background. 💕

From beginning to end ~ Friday night to Monday morning. Still in shock and we will be unpacking our belongings all week. In just over an hour we had all horses loaded and on route to safety. My boarders showed up and quickly got everyone’s belongings packed and horses ready to load. Amazing friends and neighbours showed up without a call to see how they could help. Empty trailers showed up ready to help once word spread. Huge thanks to the Brown’s, Rowsell’s and Marko’s for helping haul horses and offering their farms to our horses and to the Knibbs family who went above and beyond all weekend to support us during this incredibly stressful time. We are forever grateful to all the firefighters for doing an incredible job of keeping our homes safe. This community rocks 💙🤗

It has been a really strange few days walking to the barn with no horses whinnying to me…almost eerie. Today fire crews did a back burn and planes and helicopters were dropping water all day. Tonight it rained and local fire crew set up sprinkler systems just in case. We spent the day clearing deadfall from behind our rental house to get our place more secure. I think the fire will be fully contained by tomorrow. So many amazing crews working tirelessly day and night. Thank you doesn’t seem enough right now. I am exhausted and going to bed more grateful then ever that my farm is safe.

Thank you to everyone who showed up to move horses off property last night. They are safe and fire crews are working to protect our farm.
