A great performance from one of our day 1 competitors ._s winning
After coming up short a few times he buckled down and put in the work, proving it’s not just the skills but the effort behind them to give you the confidence to compete at your best!
Check the comfortability in leg entanglements, the switching of legs, and swapping inside/outside attacks as well as heel hook and straight ankle locks. Great work not so little Michael!

MEMBER SPOTLIGHT:
I just wanted to give a special shout out to Kelly Kidd—a member with us since May 2023. Kelly started training BJJ after being inspired by watching his sons fall in love with the sport and experience growth on and off the mats.
Kelly now inspires others to keep pushing themselves towards daily improvement. Since starting BJJ, he has lost +110lbs (the scale was broken when we started and he continues to lose more everyday) and recently competed for the very first time and secured his first victory at the 2025 World Master Championship.
Thank you Kelly for not only your commitment to yourself but for inspiring so many others to push themselves to new limits.
There is no ceiling. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Learning to find comfort within discomfort.
In a world full of comfort, with Uber, Amazon, and Skip to your front door, some find it uncomfortable just to answer a phone call or hold a conversation with a stranger.
This is one of the best lessons we learn from Jiu-Jitsu; wether you’re getting smashed by the ultra-heavy weight in side control, battling for an angle, surviving a submission, or even just stepping onto the mats for the first time, we all must find comfort within discomfort. Become uncommon amongst the uncommon.
