Parkland Twins NCABL

Not exactly the season end that the Twins had in mind, but they took a healthy run at the defending NCABL champions, losing in two straight games that were each decided by a single run. In the end, the Westlock Red Lions walked away with a 3-2 win in extra innings in game one. That was followed up by another battle in game two that saw Westlock prevail with a 4-3 win. The Twins had top notch chances in both games, but just couldn't get the key hits they were looking for. Despite the sour taste right now, the Twins had a successful season. One major highlight was the outstanding play of the new/young players and the manner in which they stepped up to play key roles on the team. There was outstanding play by Morgan, Chayse, Ryan, Curtis, Joshua, Dom, Eli, Jordan, Gavin, Zach, Casey and Ethan. Not only was it fun to watch, but it also bodes well for next season. Also, hats off to the veterans who lead the way - - Kevin in the dugout; Mac, Kyle, Jake and Zaine on the mound; Ben, Clark, Brandon, Vaughn, Joe and Kirk in the infield; Matt with his career high batting average; Michael, Mike and Greg in the outfield; and, Brett with two (yes, two) game-changing homeruns. Next season seems like a long ways off, but it really won't be that long until we hear, "Play ball!" Have great off-season!

Well, the Twins end up on the wrong side of 2 one run games to end their season. Thanks to all of our fans this year for the support. We appreciate every single person that came out and supported us this year. We really appreciate the community backing us, and we’ll be back next year ready to finish on top.

So, if you didn't make the trip to Westlock to take in game one of the NCABL final series, you missed one heck of a game. The Parkland Twins and the Westlock Red Lions battled until it got too dark to continue. The score after eight complete is 2-2. The starting pitchers for both teams put on a great show. Jake Moger of the Twins went seven innings and then got a little help from Dom Pasychnyk in the extra inning. Ayden Cote went all eight innings for the Red Lions. There was bunting, stolen bases, defensive gems and even a little bruhhaha after what looked to be a pretty innocent slide into second base. Game one will now completed on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Henry Singer Park in Spruce Grove. Game two of the series go right after Game one is completed. So, get down to the ball park and watch the best baseball in the city. Go Twins!!!

⚾️8 INNINGS WASNT ENOUGH!!!⚾️

After 8 innings tonight’s game was suspended in a 2-2 tie due to darkness. Game 1 will resume tomorrow afternoon at 2pm in Spruce Grove at Henry Singer to determine a winner for this one.

Game 2 will begin shortly after game 1 is finally resolved.

TONIGHTS THE NIGHT!

Game 1 of the NCABL Finals goes tonight at 6:30PM at Keller Field in Westlock, AB. The Twins head to Westlock to begin a Best-of-3 series to decide this years league championship!

A couple of great games over the weekend for the Parkland Twins as they advanced to the NCABL final by defeating the St. Albert Cardinals two games to zero in the semi-finals. Congratulations team! Two more wins required.

TWINS WIN!!!

A tightly contested game 2 went the way of the Parkland Twins with a final score of 3-2. Jake Moger was nails on the mound throwing a complete game and driving in the Twins first run. With today’s win the Twins move on to the NCABL Championship Series against the Westlock Red Lions yet again. Games will be hosted Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if necessary. Come out to Henry Singer to support the Twins Saturday afternoon!

Westlock has swept their series, so our game 2 has been pushed back to 1PM in Legal. Game 3 if necessary would happen immediately following game 2.

Powered by a complete game from Kyle Prather and a lead off home run by Jordan Fehr the Twins win a 22-6 blowout in game one of the semi finals agains St Albert. Game 2 goes tomorrow at either 10am or 1pm dependent on the result of Game 2 between Westlock and Edmonton happening right now.
