Loving all the faces of Mother Earth in the past few weeks. There’s always a lesson, a way to witness the balance of all things. The elements, plants, animals, and weather all have lessons and I love decoding them…

Just my regular thoughts of existence and spiritual purpose.

Every moment is spiritual, I’ve learned that I don’t have to be in meditation, chanting mantra, in shamanic journey to reach the profound wisdom within- it’s actually always there. Even in the messy imperfection of being human. My shamanic teacher says that all emotions are Great Teachers- ones we have come here to learn from and experience.

As Meggan Watterson says - “Being human is the whole point“

Much love. Dana

The Earth gives us many opportunities to be still and observe our own selves. I was lucky to spend the weekend in Nordegg, Alberta. A place that was just the quiet I needed.

After a huge Death/ Rebirth few years I am surveying the land and wondering what has burned away in my life and what remains.

It’s both disorienting and magical. I guess that’s life too. Every experience is here to guide and teach us, if we are willing to look.

Had to show up for me today. Even though it’s easy to skip it. No one will show up for you. It’s up to you.

That goes for the gym, your yoga practice, and meditation practise.

Glad I showed up, because when I lift heavy s**t I show myself that I can handle the heavy s**t of life. 💖

Last year was death and rebirth year for me. I was invited to go deeper than I have ever gone before. Sprinkled throughout my dark night was some incredible moments of power, resilience, and strength.

You’ll see this page shifting a little, into a more authentic version of myself. One that is both strength and stillness.

I’ll share my stories of how I challenge myself and my body. Face my fears, find my breath, and carry the f**k on. Because isn’t that life?

It’s not always easy breezy, we are here to transform and transformation is messy at times- but also so beautiful.

So here is to mindful and intentional strength- both inside and out.

Ths answer is …

DO THE THING THAT YOU CAN DO

🌊 When I was burnt out exhausted, my mind was spinning with an whirlwind of anxiety inducing thoughts while my body felt as heavy and immovable as a ton of bricks- so in those early days - I did what I could do. Breathe. Rest. Read. Laugh. Look at the trees. Lay on the grass. Go for a short walk. Little bits of yoga. Breathing intentionally.

It felt like I was doing nothing, however I was doing the most important thing- what I could tolerate and move myself to do.

I imagine the scale of my wellness began tipping with every small action to the point where I began to feel much better. More energetic. More joy. More peace. More acceptance. As the scale tipped back into my window of tolerance I began choosing different actions that I could- workouts, longer walks, creative work.

Every little bit counts. Even if it’s as small as a grain of sand- eventually the scale will tip.

Much love.

Morning routine: sunlight in eye balls 😅 getting up around 530 am these days due to an old dog that wakes me up.

Listening to the birds and feeling nature energize me.

Expressing gratitude for a new day and set the intention of who I want to be today.

Thanks for the consistent reminders that work to help regulate and support the nervous systems

After a deeply transformative sound journey experience with and .ray.star I have been reacquainted with the rose 🌹.

I’ve always loved roses- I have them tattooed on my body and they joined me on my wedding day.

I have been mystified by them since I was a child after watching the Secret Garden and being in my grandmothers garden which she took great pride in.

I rescued them after being thrown out when I was landscaper- shocked and beside myself that someone would discard them when their beauty died back. I knew with love and trust their beauty would return after they rested for winter.

Most recently my heart was opened to why I was so drawn to them by a truly transformative sound experience. They hold a message and resonance that is familiar with my soul.

“A rose blooms when she is ready- and not a moment to soon “

Props to my husband for the white roses. I haven’t received roses in years 💗
