Axemen Rugby are a rugby club based in the Sea to Sky Corridor between Squamish and Whistler, BC

Our club has a great mix of youth and varying experience and new members of all abilities are always welcome. Training is on Thursday evenings, in either Whistler or Squamish, and matches are Saturdays in Fall and Spring.

Not exactly tropical conditions, but a great day of rugby. Building on skills, learning from each other and getting better every time we take the field.

The Senior Men are on the road today, taking on Langley for another big day of rugby.

And a big one for our Senior Women, who kick off their season today at 10 AM against Capilano! 🪓

Last Saturday Division 1 came away with an 18–12 win over Vancouver Rowing Club, while Division 3 put up a fight in a 28–38 result against United.

Big thanks to everyone who came out to support the boys!

No time to sit still, both teams are back in action today, taking on Langley. Let’s get after it💪

Game Results from October 3rd where the Div 1 boys made the trip to Port Alberni and came away with a 57–8 win over the Black Sheep. Big thanks to Port Alberni Black Sheep for hosting us! 🐑

All teams took Thanksgiving weekend to rest (and apparently so did our social media manager 😉🦃)

Now we’re back at Brennan Park this weekend for a home double-header:

🏉 Division 1 vs Rowers 2:30 KO

This is what growing the game looks like 👀

Our club’s first-ever U18 Girls program is underway, and we love seeing the next generation sharing the pitch with our Senior Women. Different ages, different stages, one rugby community.

📍 Practice: Thursdays - Hendrickson Field
U18 Girls | 5:30–7:00 pm
Senior Women | 6:30-8:00 pm

Growing girls’ and women’s rugby means creating a space where everyone feels welcome, every player has room to grow, and no one feels they have to fit a certain mould to belong.

If you’ve been thinking about trying rugby, this is your sign. All skill levels welcome! 🤗

Game Day Recap 🪓

Two teams took the field against Capilano, with Division 1 finishing level at 14–14 and Division 3 picking up a 34–12 win.

Next up: Division 1 travels to face Port Alberni Black Sheep this Saturday, while Division 3 has a bye
