We are in for a hot one today. Try to keep your child’s backpack as light as possible. Water, lunch, a small towel and sunscreen is all they really need for today. Maybe come in their swim gear. You can put a change of clothes in a labelled ziploc bag or small extra bag that we can keep on hand. I’m sure we’ll have some water play later to cool off!!

I love watching the relationships built between the children and the counsellors!! They are having so much fun this summer!

Did anyone happen to go home with a black and white Puma hat last week? We have someone missing one ☺️
Edit: black and white one was found. Now looking for a pink one 😂

Today’s big event…building a dam in the river 🦫 💦 🔨

Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for some serious heat! Please ensure your child has plenty of water and sunscreen…and a towel. I suspect we will spend a lot of time cooling off tomorrow. They can even come dressed for water play!! 🏖️ ☀️ 🥵

So the parking lot at our normal pick up spot is pretty busy. We’ll meet at the end of the field for pick up as discussed this morning :)

Sometimes you just need to cuddle up in a hammock and take it easy 🌲 💚

People ask us all the time “What do you do if it rains?” ☔️ We build shelters of course! ⛺️ One of our favourite past times 💚

☀️ With a humidex of 32 degrees yesterday, we lived in the water. A visit to the splash pad in the morning and then some splashing of our own in a sweet little spot we found to cool off for the afternoon.
