Jonathan Carew — First called up while still in high school, Jonathan went on to play six seasons in the SJJHL. Always wanting the best for the team, Jonny embraced every opportunity he was given.

Robert Reid — Acquired by the Celtics in his final junior season, Robert previously spent time with the Paradise Warriors and went on to have his strongest SJJHL season in his final year.

Ronan Whitten — A leader in our locker room, Ronan was a constant offensive threat and competitor. In just his second season in the SJJHL, he led all of Atlantic Canada in points. His final year was cut short as his schooling took him outside of Newfoundland.

Cashe Corbett — Acquired by the Celtics in his final junior season, Cashe spent the previous three years with the Paradise Warriors, where he developed a reputation for his scoring touch.

Matt Dunn — Acquired by the Celtics in his final junior season, Matt also spent time with the St. John’s Caps, where he captured the Taylor Cup in 2024.

Sam Butler — A key member of the Avalon Celtics, Sam is known for his leadership, work ethic, and team-first attitude. He also suited up for the St. John’s Caps during his junior career.

Luke Power — Splitting his junior career between the Northeast Eagles and the Avalon Celtics, Luke was known for his rugged style of play and relentless passion for the game, always putting his team and teammates first every night.

As our season comes to an end, the Avalon Celtics organization would like to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who supported us along the way.

To our families, thank you for the countless hours, sacrifices, and support you give our players and staff throughout the season. Hockey is a team effort on and off the ice, and your dedication never goes unnoticed.

While the season didn’t end the way we hoped, we are proud of the effort and heart shown by our group all year long.

Last night our season came to end with the Stars taking the series 3-1 Michael Canning was named Player of the Game, Best of luck to the CBN Stars as they advance to the next round.
