Alison is now teaching the 7pm Beginner Pilates Mat classes on Thursday evenings starting today. We have lots of calls and messages asking about beginner classes. We actually don’t have many in the schedule which is simply because of numbers. Please come check out this class if you are new to Pilates, curious, or just enjoy a nice (still challenging) foundational level pilates mat class in the evening. We want to keep this class in the schedule so we need bodies on mats!!

💫 Summer Specials are here!
On sale now - 2 passes. A July Unlimited Mat and Reformer, and an August Unlimited Mat and Reformer. We separated them this year for folks who may not be around for the full two months.
These packages give you unlimited access to both Mat and Reformer classes for the month you buy, or both. This is an excellent and economical way to maximize your time in the studio over the summer, giving you the most freedom and flexibility as far as what classes to hit and when. Summer is short around here so having the ability to shift decisions based on the weather we fully support!
Normal studio policy remains as far as our cancellation window of 8 hours, 12 for weekend mornings, and we ask that you make sure to take yourself out of any classes or off wait lists for classes you are not able to attend. Please note there will be no refunds or extensions and no exceptions based on things like not being able to get into classes (reformer for example) or the studio needing to cancel a class. There will be a $25 penalty for no shows and late cancels. Any current passes you own can just wait to be used again after the summer. Just be sure when booking to use the summer special pass to book with.

Make the switch folks - DO IT!
Not everyone is embracing Google's AI-first vision for search.
DuckDuckGo says traffic to its dedicated "No AI" search page has more than tripled since Google unveiled its latest AI-powered search upgrades at Google I/O. The page, available at noai.duckduckgo.com, removes AI-assisted answers, AI chat features, and most AI-generated images, offering a more traditional search experience focused on web links and organic results.
The surge has been strong enough that DuckDuckGo has launched new browser extensions for Chrome and Firefox that automatically make the AI-free version the default search experience. According to the company, traffic reached three times its previous level by May 28 and has continued climbing, with visits averaging roughly 84% above their previous baseline.
The trend extends beyond search traffic. DuckDuckGo previously reported a sharp increase in app downloads following Google's AI push. On iOS, installs rose by an average of 33%, with peak growth approaching 70% on some days. The figures suggest a growing number of users are actively seeking alternatives that give them greater control over how AI appears in search results.
Google CEO Sundar Pichai has described AI Mode as the company's biggest search upgrade in decades and said users are responding positively. However, the recent growth in DuckDuckGo's AI-free products indicates that a meaningful segment of users still prefers a more traditional search experience without AI-generated summaries and recommendations.
Importantly, DuckDuckGo is not positioning itself as anti-AI. The company continues to offer its own AI tools through Duck.ai, but says the goal is to give users a choice rather than forcing AI into every search. As the battle over the future of online search intensifies, the rise of AI-free alternatives suggests that user demand for control and simplicity remains stronger than many expected.
