I have relocated my practice to St. John's effective July 11, 2022. I am now accepting new referrals:
Originally from the west coast of the province, Stephen earned a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) Degree from Memorial University (2011) before completing a Bachelor of Social Work (2014) and a Master of Social Work Degree (2015) from the University of Windsor. Since returning to Newfoundland & Labrador, Stephen worked with Western Health before setting up his own practice in Corner Brook with a focus on mental health and addictions within both adolescent and adult populations. He has recently relocated to St. John’s to continue private practice. His speciality areas include anxiety, depression, anger management, stress management, grief and loss, and addictions/substance abuse. Stephen’s approach focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Insomnia), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, and/or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. He also offers a structured eight-week anger management program specifically tailored to both adolescent and adult populations.
