Kendo translates into English as 'way of the sword'. Kendo, like all martial arts, is a means through which individuals strengthen their minds and their bodies.

Between weather, injury, and a lot of students unable to attend tonight, I will be cancelling tonight's class (not an April fools joke just FYI).
Also, there will be no kids classes on Easter Sunday. A short adult session may go ahead.

Once again due to inclement weather and the aftermath, we will be cancelling all kendo classes for today, Feb. 22nd. Stay cozy, and see you all Wednesday.
Due to the accumulated snow and forecast of more on the way, there will be no kendo class this evening, February 18th.

Just a reminder that we are now on Christmas break, classes will resume in January with our first session back being kendo on the 7th.
Unfortunately there are no kendo classes for today, Sunday, November 9th. The gym is unavailable while facilities are replacing the lights.

With the majority of students at the martial arts camp retreat, and low attendance for regular class, Sunday's gokeiko is cancelled, we will continue with the training camp and regular members are welcome to visit us at con ba su hut.

12:15-12:50PM, Ages 5-7 Kendo (Beginners & Returning),
(20 seats available).
12:55-1:30PM, Ages 8-11 Kendo (Beginners & Returning),
(19 seats available)
*Seats will be open to the public, all students 11 years old and under are free.

Breakdown:
1:30-2:30PM Club practice Kendo (Bogu & non-bogu/beginners)
2:30-3:30PM Club practice Kendo (Bogu)
*Class size limited only by available training equipment.
**All beginners and non-bogu are welcome to attend the entire session but training focus may change.
