If you have a body, you can do yoga.
The goal of yoga is not limited to those who have more physical ability.
Yoga is an inner state, and awareness that is revealed through dedicated practice. And this can look different for everyone. There is no “one” or “right” way.

Not only was I better able to manage my pain and a lifelong spine condition, but I felt more connected and grounded in myself.
As the practice became more familiar in my body, I was more readily able to release tension generated from other forms of movement.
I also noticed that my mind settled more easily in stillness practices and restorative postures.
This Tuesday, June 16, we are starting our next 4-week SRY series, Inner Harmony, where we will decompress the spine, release pelvic tension, and emphasize opening through the thoracic spine/heart realm.

In this series we will emphasize softening and opening the realm of the heart and thoracic spine.
Landing in the body, releasing tension in the pelvis, and decompressing the spine cultivates a deeper sense of inner stability and freedom.
This offers an inner landscape where the region of your heart, including the spine attached to the ribcage, chest, and shoulders, is more available to softening, allowing you to embrace more harmony within.
Supreme Release Yoga uses supported postures with props, and sometimes your own hands and arms, to align the body in ways that encourage deep muscular release, especially in the pelvis and spine.
With practice, SRY helps unwind chronic holding patterns and creates a sense of stability, softness, and inner spaciousness.
Join in-studio or online via Zoom. All classes are recorded and available for one week. If you’re new to the practice, attending in person is recommended.

This month marks 10 years since we first opened our space!
We are so blessed to have such a dedicated community of students who continue to choose to support themselves through the practice of yoga with us.
Our sweet space has offered a refuge for so many over the years to care deeply for themselves with the guidance and nurturance of our amazing teachers.
Our hearts are full as we honour this milestone and we are deeply grateful to all of you who have been part of our story.
May we continue to share this beautiful practice in a way that meets you where you are and sustainable through all seasons of life ♥️

Excited to gather with our Spring group of moms and babes tomorrow 🌼
This supportive practice helps you reconnect with your body in a space that makes room for feeding, fussing, movement, and rest.
Through yoga postures and functional movement, we create more space and freedom within while easing tension and gradually rebuilding strength.
We pay special attention to areas that often feel overworked or depleted in early motherhood, including the abdominals, shoulders, neck, hips, and low back.
Variations and props are offered so you can meet your body exactly where it is, not where you think it should be.
This class is a beautiful way to ease back into movement, reconnect with your body, and be held in a community of other moms who understand this tender, powerful season.
There is no bouncing back here.
Come exactly as you (and baby) are ♥️
