We're not quite ready to say goodbye to summer, but we are ready to dive into a new season at the Pyramid Recreation Centre! 🏊‍♀️

The new aquatics schedule is now available, with registration opening soon:

📅 Swim Lesson Registration:
Residents: Monday, August 30 at 9 a.m.
Non-residents: Tuesday, September 1 at 9 a.m.

📅 Fall Program Registration:
Wednesday, September 2 at 9 a.m.

Whether you're signing up for lessons, lane swims or aquafit, there's plenty of time left to make a splash. 🌊

With the closure of the St. Marys Quarry today due to air quality, we are happy to offer extended public swim hours at the PRC Pool, from 2:15 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. 💦🏊‍♂️

Heads up!

The Aquatics Centre will be closed Thursday, June 11 until 4 p.m. as we complete important maintenance on the pool’s HVAC system.

🚧 While work is underway:
- Entrances A and B will be temporarily closed due to a crane on site
- You can still access the PRC through Entrance D (on the arena side)

Good news: all lessons and programs scheduled after 4 p.m. will run as usual!

Thanks for your patience while we take care of this work to keep the facility running smoothly.

Construction work will begin on the St. Marys Friendship Centre roof replacement project next Monday (June 1) and is expected to last up to four weeks. During this renovation period visitors may experience a temporary tar odor and increased noise. Those impacted directly by this work will be contacted directly from the Friendship Centre staff.
