Steinbach Fly-In Golf Club

Ty Brewster has cemented his place in Steinbach Fly-In junior golf history. Ty captured the Junior Club Championship with a two day total of 137 (-7). With rounds of 68 and 69, Ty won the tournament for the 8th time. He has won the Junior Club Championship every year he has played it.

In his final year of Junior golf, Ty has done what likely will never be matched again with his eight titles in as many years.

What a run for Helen! Helen Funk captured her 6th straight Senior Women’s Club Championship and 14th overall! In a tightly contested event, Helen was able to hold off the competition on day two for the victory.

Congratulations to our Senior Men’s Club Champion, Ernie Funk! Ernie had a two day total of 151 (+7), 2 clear of defending club champion Ike Bueckert. This is Ernie’s 4th senior club championship victory in the last 5 years.

Our 2026 Men’s Club Champion is Doug Penner! Doug successfully defended the club championship after a two day total of 144 (E). This is Doug’s 2nd straight victory and 5th overall.

The driving range will be open starting tomorrow April 21st from 11:00am to last bucket at 7:00pm weather depending.

The forecast for later this week is cooler and might bring rain so we will most likely be closed on the weekend.

Please call the pro-shop before you arrive to ensure we are open.

At this time the short game facilities (putting green and short game area) will remain closed.

Due to turf conditions at the facility, no power carts are allowed on the driving range.

What an incredible weekend for rising star Ty Brewster! Ty was crowned our Junior Club Champion after rounds of 67 and 68 for a 2 day total of 135 (-9). This is Ty’s 2nd straight overall Junior Club Championship.

Since 2018, Ty has won his age category every year which is a 7 year streak (no tournament in 2021). Incredible stuff!

She does it again! Helen Funk captures the Senior Ladies Club Championship for the 5th year in a row and 13th overall. Helen opened up a large lead after day one and held off her competition on day 2.

Congratulations Helen! You are certainly cementing a legacy!

Congratulations to Ike Bueckert on winning our Senior Men’s Club Championship! Ike held a one shot lead heading into day 2 where he fired a 3 under 69 to separate himself from the field.

This is Ike’s second seniors men’s title with his first coming in 2021.

Congratulations to Doug Penner on capturing our 2025 Men’s Club Championship! Doug had a 2 day total of 142 (-2) and ended up finishing 7 strokes clear of second place.

This is Doug’s 4th time hoisting the Club Championship trophy and 3rd time in the last 4 years.
