Abordale Equestrian

Well the rain did outdo itself compared to last year! 🌾💪 We’ve got 52 bales out on the field today!

From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. It was a busy, busy day at the farm! Both sand rings were resurfaced and levelled, every paddock was bush hogged, fences were redone, manure was moved, the hayfield was raked and bailed and last, but not least the laneway was redone. Now we’re finally sitting down and enjoying a well earned bonfire and some s’mores! 🔥🍫🐴

Early morning hack with the big boys after chores! We did a little bushwhacking to see what new trails we could open up!

🎬🍿 Movie Nights Are Coming to the Barn! 🐴

We now have access to a big movie screen, so we’re excited to start hosting community movie nights at Abordale !

Now that school has started again, we’ve created a set movie schedule for the next two months, giving everyone something fun to look forward to on weekends.

Each movie night will include:

🍿 A canteen with popcorn, snacks and drinks
🐴 Some friendly horses to meet and say hello to
📸 Themed decorations and photo opportunities
🚻 A bathroom available on-site
🎟️ Admission for just a Toonie!

Our movies will be shown inside the indoor arena, so we’ll be protected from the elements. Please remember to bring your own camping chair, get comfortable and enjoy a fun evening at the barn!

Be sure to check out the individual events on our page and select **Interested** or **Going** for any movie nights you hope to attend. This will help us plan for numbers and make sure we have plenty of snacks, drinks and supplies for everyone!

If there’s enough interest from our community, we would love to make Movie Nights at the Barn an annual tradition and continue bringing them back next summer! 🎥✨

Walking fence lines today… but somehow I ended up quality controlling not just the fences, but the apples too. 😂🍎🐴 Happy to report both passed inspection!

Welcome home, Pache, JM Battine, gabby, and Nate! We are so incredibly happy to have you all back in our lives. It truly feels like a piece of our family has come home! ❤️

The calm between the storms the boys priorities are clearly eating and napping. 

After every storm comes a rainbow and sometimes, if you’re lucky, a double rainbow. 🌈🌈 Often seen as a symbol of transformation, hope, and new beginnings, this felt like a beautiful reminder that brighter days are ahead and good things come after the hardest times. 🤍
