Great news! The City of Ottawa has added new Drop-In sessions for figure skaters to get extra practice time. STARSkaters are invited to look for an email from the club with more details. Many thanks to member Crystal-Ann Roebuck for this initiative.

Reminder: Monday, September 7 is Labour Day and regular programming is suspended that day. However, we do have Ticket Ice available for STARSkaters for $15/session:

4 PM Open
5 PM Intermediate/Senior
6 PM Intermediate/Senior
7 PM Junior

Today is the last day of skating this summer. Next week, we are back to school and back to the rink! We look forward to seeing our skaters back at CARDELREC Recreation Complex starting Tuesday, September 1.

This month STARSkaters had the opportunity to try their new solos on clear ice at a Simulation Ice event held on August 9. It is always exciting to see the season's new programs for the first time!

We need Program Assistants! Goulbourn Skating Club relies on skaters to help the professional coaching staff on our CanSkate sessions. For teens, this can be a great way to earn volunteer hours to fulfill school community service requirements. If you are at least 10 years old and an enthusiastic skater who enjoys encouraging others to keep moving while they have fun learning new skills on the ice, please contact our PA Coordinator!
