It’s stager season. Big boys and gals are chomping. Check out the canine teeth this big buck is developing. Went 3/3 today landing this 21.6lb chinook and 2 smaller silver ones. Meat took the big guy and the other 2 were spoon fed by TNT Fishing Lures and Silver fox tackle
NE winds tomorrow will keep us on shore and family plans for the holiday Monday will allow the fish to rest another day.

Fun morning today going 5/8. Shaker, 8lber, and 3 mid teen fish. FishedIn CustomBaits took 3 shots, Got2Bite flys took 2, and our Silver fox tackle and TNT Fishing Lures took the other hits.

Sunday and Monday fun. Sunday morning we went 3/8 landing an 18lb chinook, a rainbow and a small chinook. Sunday evening we went 6/6 landing 1 rainbow and 5 chinook. Monday morning we were 7/8 landing a laker, coho, 3 bows, and 2 chinook. Pretty mixed bag of successful baits. Top baits were Got2Bite flys and Tw***ie rigs with real meat and FishedIn CustomBaits rubber meat. Next top producer was my custom TNT Fishing Lures spoons followed by Silver fox tackle green watermelon and a prototype, then a Great Lakes Spoons bloody nose. Thanks for a fun/wet couple of days!

We’ve been pretty quiet for the first half of August. Between some family vacation and a bunch of end of season baseball tournaments for my kids, I’ve been busy. The trips that we have gotten in this August have been productive for us but my clients seam to be hoarding the pictures lol. Top producers this month have been the Silver fox tackle green watermelon spoon, TNT Fishing Lures spoons in my custom colours, Great Lakes Spoons bloody nose, and some of the FishedIn CustomBaits rubber, tunable meat strips down deep. Got2Bite flys and tw***ie rigs have also been doing some damage for us. It’s looking like a busy end to August as the calendar is almost full. We still have another 2 full months of fishing so let’s get out there and make some memories!

Here’s a post for Monday and Tuesdays trips. Monday morning we went 5/8 with 3 small salmon and 2 lake trout. Tuesday evening we went 7/8 with 2 lake trout, 1 nice 15lb chinook, and the rest were small chinook. It’s been mostly a spoon bite for us. Silver fox tackle green watermelon has been top dog followed by Great Lakes Spoons bloody nose, and TNT Fishing Lures in my custom colours found at Natural Sports - The Fishing Store. All of the salmon have been in the top 60’ of the water column anywhere from 80-245fow. Down temps remain cooler than normal for this time of year. Every fish I’ve cleaned in the last 2 weeks has been stuffed with 4”-8” ailwife.

Fun Monday morning trip. We fished from 80-245fow and hit fish all the way out and back. The only consistent thing we found was fishing in the top 60’ and fishing with spoons. Couldn’t get flys, meat, or fake meat to go. Top spoon of the day was a Silver fox tackle green watermelon and a Great Lakes Spoons greasy chicken wing. We ended up landing 1 bow, 1 chinook, and 2 coho. Thanks for coming out guys!

Quick trip this morning. Started the morning off in steady 3 foot chop so I made the decision to head into the wind and hope the other shoreline helped block it a bit when we got close and that’s exactly what happened. Ended up 4/5 with 1 lake trout, 1 bow, 1 Atlantic, and 1 coho. Spoons did all the damage today. Great Lakes Spoons greasy chicken, Silver fox tackle green watermelon, and TNT Fishing Lures custom colours took our bites.

Fun evening with some clients from Ohio last night. Started off with a slight east breeze making 2-3 foot waves and then the wind flipping to the south creating a bit of a “washing machine” effect but we stuck it out and it payed off. Ended up 7/11 with 2 lake trout, 1 rainbow trout, and the rest small salmon. It’s was a spoon but last night with TNT Fishing Lures in my custom colours and a Silver fox tackle green watermelon taking almost all of the bites. Glad we moved the trip back an hour to end at 9pm because we took 6 bites in that last hour.
