Along Alberta rivers, dipping into cold glacier-fed waters. —Nature has remained an essential component in our interpretation of Sauna.

A spa tries to create artificial comfort by controlling life’s edges.

At SAH we do the opposite. We use the seasons to meet life’s edges, canoeing, camping and lake/river swimming in summer, and embracing winter at its coldest.

We will be back in the fall with some updates.

Sauna & Soul was our first collaboration. It turned out as we expected: a very relaxing and peaceful hang out & wellness type of day with the perfect beats in the background.

Thanks to all the beautiful woman who made this happen and looking forward to the next one.

At SAH we like to prioritize music as part of our experience.

Anna aka Siren grew up a Snow Angel Hill baby swimming in mountain lakes and running barefoot in the snow.

She has since moved to Toronto and connected herself to a wide variety of musical and artistic influence including Lucid, a collective that throws parties focused on downtempo, ambient, and dubby selections.

Her sets embody the idea of fluidity between nature, emotion, and somatic experience.

When she is around, we always twist her arm into DJing for us.

We are excited to announce Sauna and Soul at Snow Angel Hill.

This is a collaborative event with .canada and

Saunaema Thea Prulli will guide sauna and ice dips. She will be sharing her expertise in Estonian sauna culture and best practices including a whisk-making seminar!

Andrea Huncar will lead movement and meditation. She brings years of experience with her and has an ability to intuitively tap into both physical and mental states in her practice.

DJ Siren will be holding down the Tea Room DJ booth and will play a variety of music from ambient, esoteric, and introspective to groove-laden and empowering.

IT’S TIME TO CARE! We now offer training at SAH for all stages and abilities. Note: While sauna is not recommended during pregnancy strength training is. Come and train outdoors with us at 6pm on Saturdays. ☀️

Selections provided by Mitchell, who has been key in making Mimi a local hotspot and JStones (John) who used to throw parties in the Middle East, DJ in a wine bar in Mexico, and now mostly just chops wood!
