What a night. What a season. πŸπŸ’›

14 teams
38 incredible coaches
183 dedicated athletes
270 guests at our banquet

And 0 awards.

At SVC, our banquet isn't about individual recognition. It's about celebrating the journey, the relationships, the growth, and the memories made throughout the season.

A huge thank you to Maxime Gratton for sharing such an engaging and relevant message with our athletes and families. Also thank you to Max and sports for their $500 donation to provide financial support to one of our athletes next season.

Thank you to the The Arden Park for hosting another fantastic event and helping us celebrate in style.

And thank you to Brayden for capturing the evening so beautifully through his photos.

Most importantly, thank you to our athletes, coaches, volunteers, and families for making this club what it is.

Another season in the books.

Coming to Berry from Thorndale, Ontario, please help us welcome π’πžπ₯𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐖𝐒π₯π₯ to the Berry College Class of ’30!

Selena is a pin hitter/defender who will compete for both our indoor and beach volleyball programs. She brings a unique combination of composure, energy, and high volleyball IQ to the court, constantly processing the game and looking for ways to improve. Selena has a natural feel for reading situations, adapting quickly, and making the people around her better. Whether on the sand or in the gym, she competes with purpose and consistency. She will wear #16 for the Vikings.

A student-athlete who values growth both academically and athletically, Selena earned Honor Roll recognition and a Biology Top Mark Award at Medway High School while competing with Stratford Volleyball Club. Beyond volleyball, she has also been involved in band, choir, beach coaching, and lifeguarding.

Selena was drawn to Berry because of the balance between high-level athletics, academics, culture, and faith. Planning to major in Biology on a pre-med track with a minor in French while participating in the WinShape College Program, she embodies the kind of intentional and driven student-athlete we are excited to welcome into our community.

One of the things that stands out most about Selena is how relational-based she is. She values connection deeply, brings a grounded presence to her teams, and approaches every environment ready to learn, invest, and grow.

We are thrilled to welcome Selena to Berry and cannot wait to see the impact she will make on both the indoor and beach programs over the next four years. Welcome to Berry, Selena!
β€”
Stay tuned this week as we continue introducing the Class of ’30!

The SVC 18U Stingers Jolt battled hard to earn a silver medal in D2T3 at the Ontario Championships. Playing 9 matches over 3 days including 7 that went to 3-sets, the team had to dig deep to win games in a very competitive division.

Congratulations to the players and coaches on a terrific season.
