Same drill. Two different habits. 🏒
First portion of the video: players slow their feet before the release. The shot still gets off, but the threat level drops and the goalie can read it.
Second portion of the video: feet keep moving through the release. Now the shot becomes far more deceptive, harder to track, and way more dangerous. ⚡️
Don’t separate your skating from your shot.
Move your feet ➝ release in motion ➝ become harder to defend.
