The Summerland Jets are proud to welcome Nathan Juch to the team’s inaugural roster. A left-shot centre from Penticton, Nathan brings skill, speed, defensive responsibility, and creative playmaking to the Jets.

Known by teammates as “Juchy,” he joins Summerland after playing with the Okanagan Rockets U18 AAA program in the BCEHL. Last season, Nathan recorded 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 points in 34 games.

He also helped the Rockets finish first in the U18 BCEHL, defeat the Junior Edmonton Oilers in regionals, and compete at the Telus Cup. Nathan reached the Telus Cup in back-to-back years and served as an assistant captain during both of those seasons.

For Nathan, joining the Jets is a chance to play close to home, in front of friends and family, and help build something special in Summerland from the beginning. As the Jets continue shaping their first roster, Nathan brings high intensity, hard work, creativity, and a team-first mindset to the group.

The Summerland Jets are proud to welcome Emery Corpe to the team’s inaugural roster.
A left-shot defenceman from Sherwood Park, Alberta, Emery brings speed, skill, hockey IQ, and a creative edge to the Jets’ blue line.

Known by teammates as “Corps,” he joins Summerland after spending last season with the Nelson Leafs in the KIJHL. In 34 games, he recorded two goals, 12 assists, 14 points, and 31 penalty minutes. Emery has also spent time with the Kamloops Storm and Strathcona Warriors, and helped win a U18AA provincial championship in 2025.

Fans can expect high-paced hockey, strong skating, smart puck movement, and a player who wants to make things happen while continuing to build the defensive side of his game.

For Emery, joining the Jets is a fresh start with a determined group and a community he has heard great things about. As the Jets continue building their first roster for Summerland, Emery brings skill, energy, and a team-first mindset to the group.

The Summerland Jets are proud to welcome Jared Stene to the team’s inaugural roster.
A right-shot forward from Osoyoos, B.C., Jared brings size, physicality, energy, and a strong South Okanagan connection to the Jets.

Known by teammates as “Stener,” he joins Summerland after playing with South Okanagan and the South Zone Knights. Last season, he recorded 12 points in 18 games, with five goals, seven assists, and 34 penalty minutes.

Jared describes his game as smart, physical, hard-working, and offensive. Fans can expect big hits, greasy goals, energy every shift, and a player who is ready to work for his opportunities.

For Jared, Summerland already feels like a second home. He has played through the zone program in Summerland for the past three years, spent years in the rink, made close friends here, and is excited to be part of the Jets’ first-ever season. As the Jets continue building a team for Summerland and the South Okanagan, Jared brings local connection, compete, and a team-first attitude to the group.

September is here, and Jets hockey is officially taking off ✈️

We’ll start the month with exhibition action before the puck drops on the Summerland Jets’ inaugural BCHC regular season.

Exhibition Games
Admission to our exhibition games is FREE with a donation to the local food bank. Come get your first look at the Jets, bring a food donation and help us pack the rink before the regular season gets underway.

Then, on September 18, it becomes official as the Jets play the first regular season home game in franchise history at Summerland Arena.

The Summerland Jets are proud to welcome Soren Brons-Douville to the team’s inaugural roster. A right-shot forward from Cranbrook, B.C., Soren brings strength, speed, compete, and a physical edge to the Jets.

Known by teammates as “Sorsey,” he joins Summerland after playing with the Osoyoos Coyotes last season. He has also spent time developing with RINK Hockey Academy and Okanagan Hockey Academy.
Soren describes himself as a power forward who plays with pace and physicality. Fans can expect him to get pucks deep, lay the body, forecheck hard, and bring a fast, high-intensity game every night.

For Soren, joining the Jets is a chance to play for Coach Dirk again and be part of a new team and culture from the beginning. As the Jets continue building their first roster for Summerland, Soren brings energy, strength, and a team-first approach to the group.

The Summerland Jets are proud to welcome Carter McKenzie to the team’s inaugural roster. A left-shot centre from Calgary, Alberta, Carter brings Junior A experience, compete, and a strong two-way game to the Jets.

Known by teammates as “C Mack,” he joins Summerland after playing last season with the Chase Heat in the KIJHL. In 34 games, he recorded five goals, five assists, 10 points, and 16 penalty minutes. Carter describes himself as an all-around, playmaking two-way centre. Fans can expect strong faceoffs, net-front presence, energy, and a competitor who is willing to do whatever it takes to help the team win.

For Carter, joining the Jets is a fresh start and a chance to help build something new. He is excited to be part of a team he believes can become a contender, while helping shape the culture and legacy of the Jets from the beginning. As the Jets continue building their first roster for Summerland, Carter brings work ethic, experience, and a team-first mindset to the group.

There is so much that goes into building a hockey team before the puck ever drops, and none of it happens without people who are willing to step up and be part of it.

We’re incredibly thankful to the volunteers who joined us for our kickoff meeting yesterday and to everyone who has already offered their time, skills and support as we prepare for the Jets’ inaugural season.

From game nights and community events to all of the work happening behind the scenes, our volunteers will be an important part of making this season possible and creating the kind of experience we want the Summerland Jets to be known for.

We’re still looking to add a few key people to the team, including volunteers with experience in security and critical care.

The Summerland Jets are proud to welcome Hudson Ashcroft to the team’s inaugural roster.
A right-shot defenceman from Red Deer, Alberta, Hudson brings size, skating, hockey sense, and a responsible defensive game to the Jets’ blue line.

He joins Summerland after spending the past two seasons with the Red Deer Elks U18AA program, with additional experience at the U18AAA level. Last season, Hudson recorded 15 points in 34 regular-season games, with five goals, 10 assists, and 38 penalty minutes. He added two assists in four playoff games.
Hudson describes himself as a defensive defenceman who takes pride in smart decisions, strong passing, skating, and being reliable in his own end.

For Hudson, joining the Jets is a chance to be part of a brand-new team, experience junior hockey in B.C., and play in a community he has already heard will be right behind this team. As the Jets continue building their first roster for Summerland, Hudson brings a steady presence, a team-first attitude, and the kind of commitment that helps set the foundation.
