ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਮਹੀਨਾ

ਅਪ੍ਰੈਲ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਮਹੀਨੇ ਵਜੋਂ ਮਨਾਇਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਸਿੱਖ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ, ਸਿੱਖਿਆਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਸਤਿਕਾਰ ਦੇਣ ਦਾ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸਮਾਂ।

ਅੱਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ, ਜਦੋਂ ਦੁਨੀਆ ਕਈ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੰਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ, ਸਿੱਖ ਵਿਰਾਸਤ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਇਕਤਾ, ਸੇਵਾ ਅਤੇ ਮਨੁੱਖਤਾ ਦਾ ਰਾਹ ਦਿਖਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਸਿੱਖੀ ਸਿਰਫ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਨਹੀਂ, ਇਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਜੀਣ ਦਾ ਤਰੀਕਾ ਹੈ।
“ਸਰਬੱਤ ਦਾ ਭਲਾ” ਸਾਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਲਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਸੋਚਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਣਾ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਚਾਹੇ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੋਵੇ, ਕੁਦਰਤੀ ਆਫ਼ਤਾਂ ਹੋਣ ਜਾਂ ਸਮਾਜਕ ਚੁਣੌਤੀਆਂ ਸਿੱਖ ਕਮਿਊਨਿਟੀ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਕਾਮ ਸੇਵਾ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਲੰਗਰ, ਸੇਵਾ, ਵਾਲੰਟੀਅਰ ਕੰਮ ਅਤੇ ਦਾਨ ਇਸ ਦੀ ਜੀਵੰਤ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹਨ।

ਇਹ ਮਹੀਨਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਦਿਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅਸੀਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਪਛਾਣ ’ਤੇ ਮਾਣ ਕਰੀਏ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਆਰ, ਬਰਾਬਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਵੀਏ।

ਆਓ, ਅਸੀਂ ਸਿਰਫ ਮਨਾਈਏ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿੱਖੀਏ ਵੀ, ਅਤੇ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਮੁੱਲਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਈਏ।

Sikh Heritage Month

April is celebrated in Canada as Sikh Heritage Month a special time to honour Sikh history, teachings, and the contributions of the Sikh community.

In today’s world, where many challenges and divisions exist, Sikh heritage continues to show us the path of unity, selfless service, and humanity.

Sikhi is not just history it is a way of life.
“Sarbat da Bhala” inspires us to think and do good for everyone.

Whether during difficult times, natural disasters, or social challenges, the Sikh community continues to step forward in selfless service. Langar, volunteer work, and charitable giving are living examples of these values.

This month reminds us to take pride in our identity while also promoting love, equality, and cooperation in society.

Let us not only celebrate, but also learn and bring these values into our everyday lives.
