Cricket BC congratulates our President and Cricket Canada President, Mr. Arvinder Khosa, along with President Cricket West Indies and Sport minister Saint Vincent, for their involvement in important discussions surrounding the growing collaboration between Cricket Canada, Cricket West Indies and NCL 20 Canada / GT20 Canada.
Cricket West Indies and NCL Canada have already announced plans to deepen their strategic relationship around Global T20, including commercial collaboration, player-development opportunities and potential integration with the planned CWI High-Performance Centre in Antigua. NCL 20 Canada is also operating as a Cricket Canada-sanctioned professional T20 competition.
According to information shared with Cricket BC, this collaboration is expected to create approximately US$1.5 million in value for Cricket Canada, with further details and announcements anticipated. Discussions are also looking at the Caribbean as an exciting potential destination for future Canadian T20 activity, including a possible OctoberโNovember window.
This is the kind of international collaboration that can create stronger pathways for Canadian players, expand commercial opportunities and connect Canadian cricket more closely with one of the great cricketing regions of the world.
