Please be advised that the filly, Outlaw Hawaiifiveo belonging to the FD Horse Racing Club has been sold to Jim Burke who was the trainer of her while she was the club's horse.

At this time due to "no fans" permitted during live racing, the FD Horse Racing Club will not be reinstated for the fall 2020 race meet.

On behalf of HRBC, a heartful thank you to all the members and fans that supported our Club for the past several years.

What a beginning race club fans, our filly Outlaw Hawaiifiveo won her first race last night at our track!

What a fabulous Friday final race! Fraser Downs Horse Racing Club meets their winning horse.
Outlaw Hawaiifiveo‘s debut in the 12th race marked her as a winner! Excitement was heard from the club members cheering her as she moved into 1st position. Congratulations goes out to Kelly Hoerdt and Jim Burke....well done!

Hello Harness Racing Fans!

There’s excitement in the Backstretch at Fraser Downs Race Track as we head into our Fourth Season as a Club! The HRBC Board of Directors are pleased to announce the purchase of a three year old filly by the name of OUTLAW HAWAIIFIVE0 which was shipped from Alberta to be the next horse for the Fraser Downs Horse Racing Club. She was foaled in Alberta with the sire being Blue Burner and the mare Watchasgirlsgoby. Jim Burke, who is respected by many of the previous club members as well as fellow horseman has graciously accepted to be the trainer for another season. If you would like to be part of her debut, she is in to go on Friday, October 25, 2019, Race 12 with a post time of 10:40 pm. Here’s your chance for an exciting way to participate in the sport of Harness Horse Racing! Get together with your friends, your family and co-workers and join the club. For a $250 all-inclusive fee, part-owners can visit the barns and hopefully one day share in some of the winners’ circle celebrations. With the season now in full steam ahead, the Fraser Downs Racing Club is a low cost, low risk way to get involved in horse racing and have some fun.

For those of you who were in the club back in 2016 when No Pelo Blue Chip, known to the members as “Miss Pelo” was the race horse and later sold to become a broodmare, I thought you might like to know that she had a beautiful filly born on April 25, 2019 by the sire, Custard The Dragon. In addition, I have been told that she has been bred back and confirmed in foal to Ontario sire All Bets Off so we shall await another Miss Pelo foal.

FD Horse Racing Club earns an award at the 2018 Standardbred Industry Awards Gala.

On March 2, 2019 Jans Legacy won the title of CHAMPION for the Racing Division, Claimer $6,000 & under mares at the 2018 STANDARDBRED INDUSTRY AWARDS BANQUET.
Some of the FD Horse Racing Club members joined HRBC at the gala event and was honoured to accept the award on behalf of the club. A special Congratulations to Jim and Cindy Burke for making this possible.

If you would like to join HRBC at our Annual Standardbred Awards Banquet, tickets can be purchased for $50 per person.
