I'm dedicating this post to the late Wayne Norton (Port Moody, B.C.) who was the Mariners scout who signed O'Neill.

💙⚾ THANK YOU, WHALLEY LITTLE LEAGUE FAMILY! ⚾💙
What an absolutely incredible day!
To our amazing players, coaches, junior coaches, managers, parents, volunteers, sponsors, and every Whalley Little League family member who came out today—THANK YOU.
Despite the pouring rain, you showed up with smiles, energy, and unwavering support for our young athletes. Watching our players battle for prizes, cheer on their teammates, and embrace every moment of the Bat-A-Thon was truly inspiring. The rain may have soaked us, but it certainly didn't dampen our spirits!
Today was a beautiful reminder that baseball is more than just a game. It's about community, friendship, perseverance, and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
To every volunteer who worked behind the scenes, every parent who stood in the rain, every coach and junior coach who encouraged our athletes, and every manager who helped make the day run smoothly—today could not have happened without you.
And to the Whalley Little League Board of Directors...
👏 THANK YOU!
👏 THANK YOU!

Your dedication, planning, fundraising efforts, and countless volunteer hours helped create a magical experience for our players and families. The impact you make on our league is felt every single day.
Today was wet.
Today was muddy.
Today was unforgettable.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making the 2026 Whalley Little League Bat-A-Thon an incredible success! 💙⚾🌧️
Thank you to Kona Ice of Chilliwack for supporting Whalley Little League with every event we have.

Happy Birthday Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum! 🎂🎂
It's our birthday! On this day in 1998 the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum officially opened its doors in its new location in St. Marys, ON.
We've been here ever since, and have grown to include 4 premium ball diamonds, as well as a beautiful expansion which was added on in 2018.
And don't worry if you forgot to get us a present, your presence is present enough!
Stop by for a tour next time you're in the area! 🥳
