People see the few minutes of competition, but they don’t see the countless hours of training behind it.

The sweat, the mistakes, the repetition, and the determination to keep going.

We also see the tears, the disappointment, and the emotions when the results don’t go as hoped. Those moments remind us just how much these young athletes care and how much effort they’ve put into preparing.

Regardless of the results or which school they represent, we have tremendous respect for every athlete who had the courage to step onto the mats.

Winning is only one part of the journey. Learning to face disappointment, get back up, and keep moving forward is what is important.

Tournament lasts a day, lessons last a life time.
