If a event is arranged would people prefure a 5 man 7 man semi uncapped or a true xbal weekend and what month would you all be able to commit. I want it to be cheap and fun no b's you all tell me what you would like and I will make it happen.

So the year has begun and I wanted to know what you guys would like if we were to run a event or two. There would be some type of prize no matter what, yes, to answer your first question you greedy basterds hahaha. I was thinking going a little retro some true xball 15bps, 7man or 5 man Open/Novice divs? Since everyone else is doing nxl rulings I thought we should just put the b.s aside get out have some fun and shoot each other what do you all think?

Why?:
The idea of this Streetball tournament is to primarily give players a small taste of what the NXL format has to offer. Secondly the goal is to make sure all players leave with more knowledge/skills then had when they showed up in the morning.

After a few rounds of discussion between the VPL higher ups, we have decided to make a small change to the remaining 2 VPL events in order to make them more accessible to the average player!

As you know, at E1 we moved to a “streetball” style format. A format that allowed teams to play as a unit, as well as allowed free agents to form their own teams the day of the event. This format was received quite well with those who participated in the event, and as an organization we are dedicated to providing a quality event to the paintballing masses of the Vancouver region, we feel that this is currently the format most conducive to the local players.

Trevor Marsden and the rest of the Fracture Crew will still be heading up officiating, in addition to offering their expertise to any teams who request coaching assistance.

Simply put, It’s a fun format, that is inclusive and adaptable to todays current paintball climate. We look forward to seeing you all at E2!

We will be editing our posters, and event groups shortly to reflect these changes. And NOTE: those who have paid for VPL player cards, your money will be refunded within the next 72 hours ☺…

today!!! its not to late to sign up! come on out!

There will be a streetball event held at ambush in place of E1. Entry for the streetball event will cost $40, this will also cover your field fee at ambush for the day.
Anyone can play in the streetball event as it will be one division. Teams will be drawn out of hat at random, you will be assigned a coach to provide tip's/gameplans and teach you some new skills. Each streetball team will play the same number of games with a slightly modified NXL ruleset (Mercy rule will be replaced with a "race-to-five") 15 minute game time with 3 minutes in between points. (the extra minute in between will allow a little more time to get those gameplans down from your coach).
Paint will be on site.

GI 2 star at $55

GI 3 star at $60

A Paint prize will be awarded to the team who wins the event and it's value will be determined by the number of attendees.
If you wish to Participate in the streetball, paint must be purchased on site. Regular Sunday play will resume between 12:30-1:00 and standard Ambush BYOP rules will apply.
Gates will open at 8:30, Paint and registration will start at 9:00
First match will begin at 10:00

You do not need a team to participate in this event and all skill levels are welcome. This is a great opportunity to get into tournament paintball and learn!

Perfect way to experience a tournament at the cost of a practice.

Edit: Visa, MasterCard and Cash will be accepted. Debit will not be.
