πͺ Hard Work Paying Off
A big congratulations to Ryder Burns on earning his Division 1 roster spot! Since September, Ryder has been putting in the work with us every Sunday, showing incredible dedication to his development. On top of that, heβs been competing in two games every weekend in Division 2B and 2A, constantly challenging himself and gaining valuable experience.
This is a well-deserved step up and a testament to Ryderβs commitment, work ethic, and passion for the game. Keep pushing forward, Ryder β this is only the beginning! β½π₯

β½ Deception in the 1 v 1
In this 1 v 1 sequence, our players worked on using different fakes to deceive and escape from the defender. Watch as Ayrton executes one of Toni Kroosβ signature movesβopening up the hips, selling the pass, and then bursting the opposite way to advance the play.
A brilliant example of using body shape and deception to create space. Perfect ex*****on, Ayrton! ππ₯

πͺ Lead by Example
At GFC Training, the wall challenge is a staple part of our development process. Playing the ball off the wall helps players develop their control through the weight of their pass, while also improving their anticipation and reaction to the bounce.
In this clip, Coach Dhani gives a perfect demonstration of finding the right weight of pass, establishing his position, and slotting it home. β½π₯
πͺ Brilliant Footwork from Kevin!
Great to see Kevin back on the pitch and working hard after recovering from an injury. In this sequence, Kevin combines multiple skill moves, shoulder checks, and passes to simulate in-game scenarios while sharpening his touch and decision making on the ball.
Well done, Kevin, for pushing through the challenges of recovery and getting back to doing what you love. Keep up the great work! β½π₯
πͺ Never give up on the play!
In soccer, things donβt always go according to plan, so itβs crucial for players to learn how to adapt and adjust in the moment. This sequence is a perfect exampleβafter the defender disrupted the initial skill move, the attacker recovered the ball, stayed composed under pressure, and held possession before calmly slotting it home. Brilliant patience and composure on the ball. Keep working until the play is truly over! β½π₯
The fake pass/shot is one of the most effective skills in the game for deceiving defenders. One of the best players to use this skill regularly is Riyad Mahrez who does an incredible job selling the fake and keeping defenders off balance.
In this sequence, Nathan works on developing his fake pass by using his hand to sell the movement and adopting a wider stance to make the action more convincing and harder for defenders to read.
Excellent work, Nathan! Way to keep defenders guessing. β½π₯
Each week our girls group continue to build the key foundations of the game. Their dedication and passion at such a young age is amazing to be part of. Keep up the great work girls β the progress shows each session! β½π
Brilliant ex*****on by Nathan in this 1v1 sequence πβ½οΈ
Nathan did a fantastic job using his creativity and quick feet to escape the defender and create space. His attention to detail, sharp movements, and commitment to each rep are what continue to elevate his game.
Keep up the great work, Nathan. The results are showing! π₯πͺ

Congratulations Dimitri!
In this sequence, Luna sharpens her fake pass to keep defenders off balance and constantly guessing her next move. By raising her arms to sell the action, changing pace at the right moment, and keeping her chin up to scan the field, she makes every rep look game-realistic and dangerous.
Great job by Luna adding more unpredictability to her game! β½π₯
