PARTNERSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT

The Surrey Eagles are excited to announce a new goaltending development partnership with Stage One Goaltending and JD1 Goaltending.

Harry Fredeman joins as Director of Goaltending (Stage One Goaltending), and Josh Dias joins as Head Goaltending Coach for the Surrey Eagles, JPHL, and HPL (JD1 Goaltending).

The Surrey Eagles are proud to announce the signing of Justin BriseBois for the 2026–27 season.

Justin joins the Eagles after a strong season in the QMJHL with the Sherbrooke Phoenix, where he established himself as a stellar goaltender with composure, competitiveness, and a relentless work ethic. He is committed to Yale University following his junior career, a testament to both his character and dedication on and off the ice.

We believe Justin will be a major building piece in the culture we are creating here in Surrey. His professionalism, drive, and commitment to excellence align perfectly with the standard we want to build within our program.

We couldn’t be more excited to welcome Justin and his family to the Surrey Eagles organization.

DJR Hockey is hosting a Surrey Eagles Hockey Academy Summer Development Session.
The Surrey Eagles Hockey School is coming this July, powered by DJR Hockey.

This 3-week development program is built for players who are serious about taking their game to another level and understanding what it takes to train like a high-level hockey player.

Program Dates:
July 13th – July 30th
Program Includes:
• 2 on-ice sessions per week
• 2 off-ice training sessions per week
• Monday & Wednesday morning on-ice sessions at Excellent Ice
• Tuesday & Thursday off-ice training sessions inside the Surrey Eagles training facility at South Surrey Arena
Program Focus:
• Hockey IQ
• Pace of play
• Stick habits and puck management
• Game details
• Compete level
• Conditioning and athletic development
• Professional habits on and off the ice

To ensure high-level instruction and detail-based development, the program is limited to only 16 players.
Goalies:

Only 2 goalie spots are available for the entire program. Once those spots are filled, goalie registration will close.
Cost:
$495 + tax
Train this summer in a high-performance environment with the Surrey Eagles and DJR Hockey.

Limited spots are available, and we anticipate this program filling quickly. Please note that this program is not affiliated with our Surrey Eagles JPHL program and is being offered as an additional summer development opportunity for players looking to get quality ice and training during the offseason.

The Surrey Eagles are proud to announce the commitment and signing of Kaeden Kalkat to the BCHL program.

Kaeden led the BCEHL U18 division in scoring last season with the Vancouver North East Chiefs and brings a unique combination of size, speed, skill, and hockey IQ to our group.
A big, fast power forward who can also play a finesse game, we believe his style will translate extremely well to the open Olympic ice in South Surrey.
