Update on Fall Festival - due to a heavy lightning a storm last evening our triple chair is out of service and will unfortunately be not operational today.

The good news we will provide everyone with a refund online this will take a few days to accomplish thank you.

The Better News, everything is still happening and enjoy everything from craft market to fall colours is 100% on us.

Poley Mountain Announces $2.5 Million Investment in Snowmaking Infrastructure

Major upgrade will more than double snowmaking capacity and strengthen the resort’s ability to respond to increasingly variable winter weather

Waterford, NB — October 2026

Skiers and snowboarders at Poley Mountain can expect to see a lot of construction activity this fall as the resort undertakes one of the most significant investments in its snowmaking infrastructure in recent history.

Poley Mountain Resorts is investing $2.5 million in a new snowmaking pumphouse, three new HKD snowmaking pumps and related infrastructure. The project is designed to significantly increase the resort’s ability to make snow quickly and efficiently—and, importantly, to take advantage of increasingly short and unpredictable winter weather windows.

Construction will continue throughout the fall with pumps already in transit from Europe. The team is setting its sights on being operational in the Winter Season of 2027/28 while remaining construction and refurbishment is completed for this expansive project.
