⛳🥌 **Well, that’s one way to start the curling season!**

It was a picture-perfect morning for golf, followed by an afternoon where the ice was keen, the rocks were ready, and the excuses were plentiful!

A great time was had by all at our first bonspiel/golf tournament of the season, as you can see from the smiles in these photos.

A huge THANK YOU to Van and his team for pulling off a sold-out day and getting the season off to a fantastic start!

Missed out this time? Don’t worry — there’s plenty more fun coming your way. Check out our upcoming events, because the Oktoberfest Bonspiel is just around the corner!

Hurry hard… because like it or not curling season comes next week!

It’s Throwback Thursday! Take a trip down memory lane with this shot of the Sutton Curling Club back in the 50s. It’s incredible to see how much our home at 15 Fairpark Lane has evolved over the decades, though our passion for the game remains exactly the same. We have exciting updates and renovations planned for the upcoming season, so please join us at our General Meeting on Saturday, September 26th at 4:00 PM to see what’s in store!

Throwback Thursday here at SCC!
Here's a photo of the SCC kitchen with many of the trophy's we have awarded over the years.

Our kitchen has worn many hats during it's tenure—sometimes a trophy room, sometimes a coffee shop, and, every now and then, even a kitchen!

But fear not… there are plans in the works to return this hardworking space to its original purpose: actually cooking in it.

Stay tuned for the great “Make the SCC Kitchen a Kitchen Again” project!

Bring comfy clothes, clean-soled running shoes and we'll provide the rest of the gear. RSVP by registering at suttoncurlingclub.ca so we can make sure we book enough coaches for a fun session!

If you think SCC members just sit around waiting for curling season to start, you're wrong. Our members stay active in the off season and they do so far and wide. Here are some energetic SCC members saying hello all the way from Taiwan!!
