What an incredible accomplishment for Count Minor Hockey’s own Max Gouthro! 👏🏒
As captain of his team, Max has officially set the Nova Scotia U13AAA record for the most points by a defenceman.
Records in Nova Scotia hockey are never easy to break, which makes this moment even more special. Max’s hard work, leadership, dedication, and passion for the game continue to make our entire hockey community proud.
What an amazing achievement congratulations, Max!
This is a pretty nifty accomplishment. Max Gouthro, captain of the Cape Breton County Islanders, set the Nova Scotia U13AAA record for most points as a defenceman.
In a province that has delivered such prestigious hockey talent over many many years, it makes the records hard to break. Which makes this such a special moment. Congrats Gouthro! The sky is the limit.

Big weekend for Minor Hockey! 🏒🔥
Officials Morgan Marks (Referee) and Madi Crawley (Linesperson) were selected to officiate the U13 AAA Minor Female Atlantic Championship at the Kehoe Forum at Cape Breton University in Sydney. Both are also proud officials with the Cape Breton Blizzard Hockey Association.
After strong performances throughout the round robin, Morgan and Madi were chosen to work the Atlantic Championship Gold Medal game on Sunday afternoon, an incredible and well-earned honor! 👏
Congratulations to all on this prestigious achievement!
