Y campers and counsellors, we will miss you!
Last week marked the end of another incredible summer camp season at our YMCA.

Over the course of 9 weeks, we welcomed 257 campers, creating opportunities for friendship, growth, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, 108 children received financial assistance, ensuring they could experience the joy of camp regardless of cost. Total amount subsidized was $36,000 that would not be possible without our community supporting the Gift of Camp Campaign. This was another summer of making friends and memories that the children will never forget.

We'll miss you, and we can't wait to see you again next summer!☀️

During our Annual Maintenance Closure, some of our YMCA staff took advantage of the rare opportunity to have a little fun in an empty pool! 😄

Behind the scenes, our team has been working hard to complete important maintenance and ensure our aquatic facilities are safe, clean, and ready for another great season of swimming.

🏊‍♀️ Good news! The pool reopens this Sunday, and we're excited to welcome swimmers back for our Fall Children's Swim Lessons!

Cathy has nourished our children with delicious meals, warm smiles, and genuine care. Her dedication went far beyond the kitchen. She helped create a welcoming environment where children felt cared for, supported, and at home.

⚠️ Membertou Branch Delayed Opening Notice

Due to the final stage of our generator installation, the Membertou YMCA will not open until 8:00 AM on Wednesday, August 26, while a required load test is completed.

✅ The Frank Rudderham Family YMCA -399 Charlotte St. will be open as usual at 5:00 AM.
