The Titans came up just short in two hard-fought games at home this weekend.
On Saturday night against the West Nipissing Lynx, the boys found themselves down 4–1 before battling all the way back to make it 4–3. The Titans pushed for the equalizer late, but the Lynx sealed the game with an empty-net goal for a 5–3 final. Nolan Côté was outstanding between the pipes, turning aside 52 shots and keeping the Titans in the fight all night.
Sunday afternoon brought another tight battle against our rivals from Ville-Marie. The Titans came out flying and jumped out to an early 2–0 lead. The Pirates answered with a late goal in the second before tying things up early in the third. With just over a minute remaining, Cooper Brazeau scored the go-ahead goal for Ville-Marie, and the Pirates added an empty-netter to make it a 4–2 final.
Two tough results, but plenty to build on. The boys showed fight and resilience throughout the weekend, and now it’s back to work. We’ll look to tighten up the details this week as we prepare for another home game Friday night at 8:00 PM against the Bradford Rattlers.

Les Titans se sont inclinés dans deux matchs chaudement disputés à domicile cette fin de semaine.
Samedi soir contre les Lynx de West Nipissing, les gars tiraient de l’arrière 4–1 avant d’effectuer une belle remontée pour réduire l’écart à 4–3. Les Titans ont poussé jusqu’à la fin pour créer l’égalité, mais les Lynx ont marqué dans un filet désert pour porter la marque finale à 5–3. Nolan Côté a été exceptionnel devant le filet avec 52 arrêts, gardant les Titans dans le match toute la soirée.
Dimanche après-midi, un autre duel serré nous attendait contre nos rivaux de Ville-Marie. Les Titans sont sortis en force et ont rapidement pris une avance de 2–0. Les Pirates ont toutefois réduit l’écart avec un but tardif en deuxième période avant de créer l’égalité tôt en troisième. Avec un peu plus d’une minute à jouer, Cooper Brazeau a inscrit le but donnant l’avance à Ville-Marie, avant qu’un dernier but dans un filet désert porte la marque à 4–2.
Deux résultats difficiles, mais beaucoup de positif à retenir. Les gars ont démontré du caractère et de la combativité tout au long de la fin de semaine. Maintenant, retour au travail afin de resserrer les détails et de nous préparer pour un autre match à domicile vendredi soir à 20 h contre les Rattlers de Bradford.
