It Peaks on the edge of a ski on a turn you're barely holding. It Peaks in the hills you climb in the company of only your thoughts. Life Peaks in friendly conversations on the chair, the air in your nostrils, in the clompity-clomp of ski boots in the Lodge. It Peaks in the smiles on our children's faces. And the smiles those create on ours. Life Peaks in starting gates, toes cold enough to let us know we're alive and beers so cold, they don't get any better. It Peaks in Volunteers carrying ski coats, funny helmet days and friends at the bar who say "How do you do?" Not "What do you do?" Life Peaks in wondrous ways. But when you can look back after a weekend, tired muscles and all and proclaim "It doesn't get any better than this!", this much reveals itself:

Life, for all the beauty and adrenaline and community it has to offer, Peaks HERE!

With snowmaking season fast approaching, and it being National Coaches Week, it’s time to get familiar with our coaching lineup this winter.

Kicking things off with our U16 Girls OCUP Coordinator, AKA Head Dawg…

Coach Heather Metzger
Years Coaching: 49+ years
Favorite Racer/Mentor: No single favorite. She believes anyone who makes it to World Cup or National Team level deserves to be celebrated, given how mentally and physically tough ski racing is.
Outside of Coaching: Career ski industry professional. Volunteers with Beaver Valley Outreach running the sports department for their thrift store, and enjoys painting.

Heather’s Why: “I love sports, all sports, and know what a huge positive impact they have on both physical and mental health. I love sharing my passion.”

Heather is a Level 4 CSIA as well as a certified PL Coach. Heather also spent five years as a Technical Director at AOA, and is recognized for her achievements by many across from North America.

We are back with a Project Snow 2.0 update — and this one has a little bit of everything.

New hydro poles installed, high voltage wiring up next, a refreshed Rogers Finish Hut, a new start hut for lower Race Grade, a brand new start ramp on Rampage, pipe work underway on Minute Mile, and the top of Rogers is done and greening up. 🏔️

Oh — and stay tuned for the Upper Wilson install.

Please note the Main Lodge will be closed Tuesday, September 8th for a scheduled power down. If you need to reach the Club during this time, please contact us by email and we will be happy to assist. Happy Long Weekend!

A few weeks of progress and one update. ⛰️

Fan guns are going up on Rogers top to bottom, all 27 air water guns are being prepped on skier’s right, and the transformation installation is up next.

Projects now 2.0 is on time and on budget.

☀️ LONG WEEKEND PLANS? WE’VE GOT YOU.

The August long weekend at the Peaks looks a little something like this:

🥾 Morning hike
🎾 Pickleball match
🏊 Pool time
🍔 BBQ lunch
☀️ A few more hours outside
🍹 And absolutely nowhere else you need to be

Summer Club is open all weekend, with the pool ready for cooling off, pickleball courts open daily from 9:30 AM – 9:00 PM, and the Poolside BBQ serving up lunch Friday – Sunday from 11 AM – 3 PM.

Basically, your long weekend itinerary is sorted.

See you at the Peaks! ⛰️

Summer Club is open to Summer Club Members. Drop In Rates are available, with guests required to be accompanied by a Summer Club Member.
