Well, it was a truly gratifying moment as I hooked up to my Great Grandfather / Vaari Alpo’s 1953 John Deere Furrow Plow.

This is the same implement that had helped my family plow our fields for generations.

Incredible isn’t it? A new style tractor(my Kubota LX3310) is still capable and compatible to these same implements that helped develop our country.

Even though he has passed, I’m sure my Vaari was smiling that day…or maybe a good laugh as I struggled to attach the ol’ girl!

A close friend of ours had never caught a Lake Trout, it was time to take him on a guided expedition to achieve that goal!

2 nights - 3 days of beautiful weather, perfect pressure systems and of course - the right location!
