July 23rd Richard Schutte Tribute Night

Another great turn out for meet the drivers night. It was great to see and meet everyone who stopped by. Thanks to Bulk Zone Thunder Bay for supplying candy for the kids.

Results: Drew outside pole for our heat race but after staging we were unable to fire the car to get on the track. The issue was quickly found and we went straight to the rear of a Bmain.

Bmain: started 8th finished 2nd
Fought through traffic and was just able to make a transfer spot.

Feature: started 20th finished 15th
Was able to move forward and starting last which is always a good sign.

June 4th Results

Heat Race: 1st-1st
After drawing the poll for heat two we held on for our first heat race win of the year despite being down on power.

Feature: 8th-7th
Redrew 8 out 8
Not knowing how the car would run we managed to get into the top 5 for most of the race until a late caution shuffled us back to finish 7th.

Next weekend is up in the air as we go through our engine.

Heat: started 6th finished 3rd
Was a stacked heat race and was happy to have moved up and transferred into the feature.

Feature: started 10th finished 7th
Moving forward in the feature in back to back weeks with no damage is a good start for our season. Hoping to hit the redraw to start closer to the front.

Thunder City Speedway Season Opener

Heat: 7th to 4th

Feature: 10th to 8th

After moving up in the feature, halfway in we started having engine issues and were able to hold on to 8th place. Should be good to go next week and looking for a better finish.

Thunder City Speedway Dirt Track Nationals Results Day 3-

After a long rain delay we were the second heat out on a greasy track started 7th finished 5th.

This put us 16th in passing points for the feature. The car was hooked up and felt great from the start and charged all the way up to 6th. Was hoping for more green flag laps.

Today is the Whiskey Row Classic. It will be my first time racing in this race. Ever since my dad won this race in 1997 I have always wanted to add my name to the trophy.
