Fitness is beyond the physical. It’s about self care and self compassion. When we move physically we release dopamine (the happy hormone) which is vital for both our physical and mental wellbeing.

Although fitness has always been a part of my lifestyle, it really blossomed during a challenging period of life for me. It allowed me to take an hour out of my day, for myself, by myself. Movement became self care. Became a way to process my emotions.

Now, I understand the gym isn’t always the most accessible of places, but there is movement everywhere. Whether it be outdoors or in the comfort of your home. We can make it possible!
