Family racing team just looking to finish the race!

๐Ÿ’Š - 77
๐Ÿ”ฅHeat -> 8th - 3rd
๐ŸFeature -> 10th - 15th

We like the 7 a couple weeks ago we decided to add another 7 to our draw! Nothing like starting in the back but at least we've been able to wheel it through the pack. Was able to drive it all the way to 3rd for a nice finish in the heat and straight line the the Feature. The main show was a bit of a different story, cautions get getting us tight and personal and on the green about half way through had help spinning. Some how got blamed and sent to the back. Ended up racing it back to 15th. We will have everything ready and fixed for the coming week!

Lets start with what's fresh in the brain ๐Ÿคช Firstly a big thank you to Sign Design Inc.

Mosquito
Put in a solid 40 laps Saturday and really got the car dialed in. With the typical terrible pill draw we started out at the back but we were able to make quick work and head to 2nd. If we had a few more laps I might have had a little something more to try and make a break for first. In the Feature we started in 4th and had a hard type with the strong defense in front of us. By the time I made the pass we had two others on the outside. Couple restarts had us pushing for 3rd with Colby Petranuk but didn't end up getting him and Speak made a nice pass to sneak in 4th. Still happy with a top 5!

TCS
Again our typical draw puts us at the back. Was able to make some passes and get it up to 7th but made a mistake near the end and lost one spot. Still headed forward is better than falling back. In the B-Main he had help going around in the first corner. Deemed I spun myself and sent to the back. Something kicked in then because I was able to wheel the car back to 3rd with a strong fight with Don Craig. Unable to get by for the pass to the feature I'm still happy moving from last back to 3rd. Might have been a little bit of a savior as the Feature turnout to be a blood bath!

Make sure you support the awesome people that support your drivers! Without them we wouldn't be able to make it out there!

๐Ÿ’Š - 7
๐Ÿ”ฅHeat -> 1st - 3rd
๐ŸFeature -> 12th - 13th

Well I guess I rode my high long enough to make a post! With my first decent pill in what feels like 5 years (thanks dad) we started first in our heat. I had kept up first for 7 laps and in the last few had some other quick cars make their way through the pack for some clean passes. Still finished 3rd with a straight run to the A. By the time we got out for our Feature the track slicked off to ice and I still ain't going anywhere near that wall. Stayed low and ended up losing only one spot. CRT Racing - Kolby Reed team came over before the race and found some broken parts before we hit the track so least I could do is give him the extra spot. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Anyways its my best finish to date of driving. Lets hope at gaining a few more yet!

๐Ÿ”ฅHeat -> 10th - 6th
โœŒB-Main -> 3th - 2nd?
๐ŸFeature -> 19th - DNF

Second week concluded and as you can see the wrap came out amazing! Thanks again Sign Design Inc. for the work and Lost Art for the killer design.

Different pill puller this week (Mom) still drawing those high numbers so at this point were just gonna start there every week LOL Started 10th but really feeling this car and wheeled it up to 6th. In the B-Main we started out 3rd and was able to drive into that 2nd transfer spot. About 3 laps in we ended up loosing front brakes so it was rocky keeping it out in second. A few restarts put us back to 4th but the last lap in the back straight I took second. I guess someone didn't like the new wrap and tried driving through my passenger side and spun me going into turn 3. Race was ended on a Checkered/Yellow. Crew up in the tower ruled I should have ended second and we got the pass to the feature. Had help from Colin Stieh (running around like a madman) to find some brake line to fix up the brakes for the feature and my dad, grandpa, mom, and father in-law getting the body as good as we could in our time lines. Soon As I got onto the track the hopeful fix let go and I decided to pull off. Didn't want a repeat of last years no brake incident. We will regroup and get that body back where its supposed to be and brakes doing what they are good at.

Another shout out to Greg with the CRT Racing - Kolby Reed who was able to supply a part that we also found broken at the end of the race. Its the people like these who help all us racers at getting back out there the best we can!

See you all next week!

Colours are officially on! Big thanks to the two teams that got it done for me, Jordan down at Lost Art who re-did all my artwork this year (including wrap) and the team at Sign Design Inc. for their amazing quality and application! The rest will remain secret until you see me at the track tomorrow ๐Ÿ‘€

๐Ÿ’Š - 90
๐Ÿ”ฅHeat -> 8th - 7th
๐ŸB-Main -> 6th - 6th

Well that wraps the first night of racing! Although it wasn't as pretty as I wanted for our first night, we will get there. With a draw of 90 we knew we were starting at the back so took my time and got to relearn the car. Was able to move up one spot which is better than moving back. During the B-Main we started 6th and had it up to 3rd, and caution set us back to 4th. Pushing a little too hard I spun it around and getting put to the back. After a tough rest of the race I was able to pull of where I started. Over all a good night but definitely need some more seat time to get it back where we need it!

Along with the season opener, it was also the tribute to Cheyenne. She will be missed both off and on the track. Thoughts go out to all the family and friends โœŒ

I'm guessing nobody saw this colour scheme coming ๐Ÿ‘€... mainly because we were scrambling to get the car looking decent in time for Sign Design to work their magic! ๐ŸŽ‰ This week, it's all about black, white, and a splash of colour (because we didn't have time for more ๐Ÿ˜‚). We dug out some old numbers from our first year racing, so you can at least figure out who's driving.

Huge shoutout to my superhero team - dad, grandpa, mom, wife, and father-in-law - who put in the crazy hours to get this car ready. We wouldn't be racing tomorrow without them! See you all at the track! ๐ŸŽ๏ธ

Huge props to Diamond Dave at dp Diamond Blades for joining the MLA crew! Go give them some love and check out all the cool stuff they do. ๐Ÿคฉ Remember, if you want to see racers flying high, you gotta support the businesses that support them too! Without awesome teams like this, we'd be stuck in the pits. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Upgrades, people. Upgrades! We are making slow progress towards race nights. Kinda glad we got pushed back a week, ๐Ÿ‘€ might not have had enough time to get this thing together otherwise. ๐Ÿซข Will keep you all updated as we get closer to the colour going on it this year, but that will stay a mystery for another week (maybe two๐Ÿ˜ˆ). Did we stay purple or maybe we went to pink? Orange? Guess you'll find out!
