Ryan is brand new to archery. First time ever picking up a bow.

He chose the APA Black Mamba X33, built in Canada. 🇨🇦

It set up and tuned easily, and then this happened:

Shot 1 & 2 are almost perfect.
Shot 3 - as close to a perfect bullet-hole through paper as you can get. In just 3 shots!

Welcome back to archery, Victoria! 🏹

It's always great to see someone come back to the sport they love.

Victoria had been away from archery for several years and was looking for something that fit her well. She saw the specs on the APA Summit and wanted to check it out in person.

We got it set up and tuned for her here at the shop - and she was right back to shooting with a consistent anchor point and form.

The Summit is such a smooth, adjustable, and shooter-friendly bow for shorter draw archers. A fantastic choice for getting back into it.

Sam dusted off his compound bow and brought it in for a full check-over.

We gave it a safety inspection, set it up, built some new arrows to match, and got it tuned. The paper tells the story — his first two shots right after tuning were bullet holes. That's what we like to see.

If your bow has been sitting for a season or two, it's worth having it looked over before you head out. Strings, timing, and arrow fit all matter for a clean, consistent shot.

Back in the Game & Bullet Hole Ready! 🎯🏹

Tuning Time Done Right! 🏹

We had Trevor in the shop. 👋 new APA Black Mamba Pro 6 - all accessorized and ready to go!

First step was paper tuning. As you can see in photo 2, his first shot had a tail right tear as shown on top.

One quick adjustment with APA's Shift Tune Technology and look at that second shot right underneath it - perfect!

Photo 3 is the verification shot. Bullet hole. Trevor is tuned, shooting straight, and all set to go.

APA SUMMIT - Shop Notes

Lightweight, forgiving and accurate. Very easy to set up and tune.

We set this one to manufacturer specifications for initial setup.

Photo 1 is the completed setup.
Photo 2 is the very first shot through paper - showed a slight nock low tear.
Photo 3 - a very minor adjustment to the MicroTune and we had perfect arrow flight.

It does not get easier than this.

The Summit continues to impress for how quickly it tunes and how forgiving it is.

🏹 THROWBACK - 2025 ARCHERY SEASON SUCCESS 🏹

One of my favourite success stories from last fall.

This hunter put in the work all summer - practice, practice, and more practice. He came in for a full setup and tune on his APA Black Mamba 36, and his dedication really paid off in the field during the 2025 archery season.

That Mamba 36 is a fantastic shooting rig - smooth, fast, and made right here in Canada - and it proved itself on a tough archery hunt. A clean, ethical, and legal harvest that came from months of preparation and respect for the sport.

Congratulations again on a huge accomplishment and a memory that will last a lifetime! Proud to have been a small part of your journey.
