FYI: there won't be karate classes this Thursday, October 6 as West Thunder Community Centre is an advance polling station for the local election. The following Monday, October 10 is Thanksgiving so there will be class from 7-8pm only. This will be for anyone from either class who would like to attend.

Hi everyone,

As of Wed, Jan 5/22, the Ford Government is putting us back into Stage 2☹️. This means the Karate Winter Session will not be going ahead as planned.
We are being told Stage 2 will remain in effect until Jan 26/22. If the restrictions are lifted at that time, classes will resume the week of Jan 31/22.
We will post an update closer to that time.

Monday, October 11 is Thanksgiving Day so karate class has been cancelled. Everyone enjoy your turkey! 🦃

Hello everyone!

A couple quick things before the start of classes this evening.

Under the direction of the provincial government, all those 12 years and over entering the building for karate classes (or observing class) are required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Those under 12 will have to go through Covid screening. Parents and guardians dropping students off inside the building and are not vaccinated will also have to go through screening.

Masks will be mandatory and hand sanitizer will be available.

Just a reminder that classes for junior and senior ranks resume Monday September 13, 2021 from 7-8:30pm.

No classes Thursday September 16 and Monday September 20.

Please note that masks are mandatory.

September is almost here which means fall classes are starting!!

Last of the summer classes are Wednesday, September 1st and 8th from 7-8pm.

Fall classes for junior and senior ranks will begin Monday, September 13th from 7-8:30pm (dojo will be open until 9pm) and will be every Monday and Thursday evening.

**Note** There will not be classes on September 16th or 20th due to the West Thunder Community Centre AGM and the Federal Election.

The youth program will begin on Thursday, September 23rd from 6:30-7:15pm and will run every Thursday.

Kokoro Dojo has reopened!!

Classes for returning students aged 12+ will be Wednesday evenings 7-8pm for the rest of the summer. Dress is gi pants, t-shirt, belt and mask.

Classes for returning students under 12, as well as any new students, will begin after Labour Day weekend. More information will be provided at that time.

The instructors at Kokoro Dojo have been talking and at this time there isn't a date for reopening.

Until the city has returned to the orange zone, there will not be karate classes.

As soon as we are able, we will resume classes in a safe manner.
We hope you are all staying safe and looking forward to seeing you again.
