Accountability and motivation are important factors in maintaining fitness and healthy habits. Join I also became interested in how food fuelled my body. YIKES!

I developed a love for fitness and nutrition in my teenage years. Having played on most sports teams throughout high school I realized how much better I felt when I was active compared to the off seasons. As I entered university, I didn't know where a degree in science would take me in life, and so, with a keen interest in fitness and nutrition I decided to focus my major on Nutritional and Nutrac

Nibby update!! After a further discussion with the vet who was scheduled to perform Nibby’s leg amputation tomorrow we’ve decided to hold off on surgery. I guess because the little guy have been eating, pooping and maneuvering around his pen with relative ease there is hope that his leg might heal on its own?! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 For the time being we’re going to limit his movement, keep him medicated and remain hopeful!!

Our poor bun boy suffered a fall earlier this week... he squirmed out our arms, landed funny and is now suffering with a broken leg (swipe for X-ray). He’s on pain medication and scheduled for amputation surgery on Saturday morning (the alternative was putting him to sleep 😱😭😫). He’s comfortably flopped in his litter dish and already hopping around on his 3 good legs and so we are hopeful that he’ll come out of surgery and adjust nicely to life as a ... the research we did in making this decision showed many bunnies who had suffered a similar injury and went on to live happy lives. I just want to put it out into the universe that we love this little guy and want him to stick around!

I haven’t posted for a bit but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been keeping up with my workouts. The app the I use the make my video collages is acting up and I may have to re-evaluate my posting strategy! Here’s I few snippets from my workouts the past week.

A quick 22 minutes of sweating to start the week. I needed something and after a terrible night of sleep. I didn’t feel like doing a workout but I’m sure glad I did!

Day 21/21: Legs! I took 27 days to do the 21 day program. This week was a bit of a circus because I didn’t organize myself properly for morning workouts. I quit for 3 days but the lure of the workout endorphins is too much to resist and so I am back at it! Fitness rule... never go more that 3 days without a workout.

Day 19/21: Pilates. Super glad I did this one this morning before sitting in a car for 6 hours because I certainly don’t have the energy for it now.

Day 18/21: Cardio! Starting the week off right with a solid sweat! Those weighted squat jacks are killer 😵Happy to get some movement in before spending the day in the car!
