Do you find you’re comparing yourself to others on social media? Guilty, me too 🙋🏻‍♀️. I filmed this workout 2 weeks ago, but haven’t had the courage to post because my legs don’t “look” the part. I don’t typically wear shorts in the gym, I don’t see these angles of myself, and to be honest the playback of these videos bummed me out. Afterall, I’m in the “best shape of my life”, right? 🤔 Instead of deleting them, let’s show them off and take a moment to recognize that our bodies change, our bodies look different depending on the lighting, angle, pose, clothing, water/food intake, menstrual cycle (women), etc. the list goes on! Social media is a highlight reel, we only want people to see the good side or to feel confident. This is a reminder to be kind to yourself ❤️, don’t compare yourself to others because I promise they have bad angles and bad body image days too, even if they don’t show you.
