This month, we celebrate love, authenticity, and the strength of LGBTQ2S communities. Let's continue building a world where everyone can be proud of who they are and feel safe being themselves. ❤️

June is Indigenous History Month and it’s an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the past, acknowledge the present, and support a more inclusive future for Indigenous communities and our people. ❤️🪶

We are here in Halifax, Nova Scotia attending the amazing Indigenous Girl’s and Women’s Hockey Gathering where important discussions and panels took place to empower Indigenous Girls and Women in hockey. 🪶

Events like this remind us that hockey is more than a sport, it’s a way to build community, share culture, and create opportunities for the next generation.

Chief Dr. Wilton Littlechild has been a central figure in advancing Indigenous sport in Canada and internationally, creating new opportunities for Indigenous Peoples through sport and advocacy.

In 2018, Wilton was awarded the Order of Sport, marking his induction into Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame, in the Builder category. He will receive this honour in the Trailblazer category on November 4th at the 70th Order of Sport Awards: Legacy Edition.
