They say age is just a number… and in Coach Steve’s case, we’re sticking with 59 + 1! 😂

Wishing a very Happy Birthday to the man who keeps our girls motivated, focused, laughing, and occasionally on their toes!

Your patience, dedication, encouragement, and love for the game mean more than you know. You’re not just teaching these girls how to curl you’re helping them build confidence, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. ❤️

We hope your day is filled with lots of laughs, a few cold ones, and absolutely NO sweeping required! 🍻🥌

🥌💙 WHAT. A. DAY, TEAM CHILTON! 💙🥌

The scoreboard doesn’t always tell the whole story, and today was proof of that.

Our first game against Team Twining was an absolute battle! The girls fought right to the very end 😮‍💨🔥 We came up just ONE point short, but what a game, and what an incredible fight!

Game two didn’t quite go our way. Sometimes the rocks simply don’t cooperate 🤪 But even then, there were still some amazing moments, including Kendall making an INCREDIBLE shot to put us on the board! 🎯👏

After four games and their very first time hitting the ice this season, there is SO much to be proud of.

🥌 Kendall — calling the game, taking chances and showing us that when a big shot is needed, she’s ready to make it. 🎯

🥌 Skye — steady, determined and bringing that vice energy every single end. 💪

🥌 Audrey — bringing the power and never hesitating to move some granite! 💥

🥌 Maddison — setting the tone from rock number ONE and giving the team something strong to build on. 🥌

And Coach Steve—behind every shot, every lesson and every “shake it off and get the next one.” Four games into the season, and there is already so much learning happening. Thank you for continuing to believe in these girls and helping them grow both on and off the ice. ❤️

Then there’s the parent crew, the chauffeurs, cheerleaders, snack providers, photographers, equipment carriers and professional nervous spectators. 😂 We may not throw the rocks, but WOW, do we ever curl from behind the glass! 🤣🥌

First ice of the season.
Some wins. Some losses. Some incredible shots. A LOT of learning.
And most importantly… a whole lotta smiles. 💙

This weekend wasn’t about being perfect. It was about getting back on the ice, finding our rhythm as a team and discovering what we can build from here.

And we’re just getting started. 👀🔥

🥌✨ DAY ONE = IN THE BOOKS! ✨🥌

1 WIN. 1 LOSS. A WHOLE LOT OF AWESOME. 💪🔥

What an incredible first day on the ice for Team Chilton! New team, new gear, and already finding our groove. 💙

🎯 Kendall called the shots with confidence. New skip and settling in with ease! She was meant for this.
🔥 Skye absolutely killed it with the come-arounds, take outs and a whole lotta smiles!
💥 Audrey was a BEAST, taking out rocks like they personally offended her. 😂
🥌 Madison set the tone from rock #1 with some fantastic lead rocks!

And coach!! Couldn’t do any of this without you!

And because curling trips are about more than just curling… there was obviously some team bonding while shopping. 🛍️😂

But perhaps the MOST important development of the day happened during a pit stop at B.A.B.…
