For our zombie camp, we do something special on the last day. The children will be building their very own “shelters” from attacking zombies 🧟‍♂️ outside with loose parts.

We are grateful to be able to offer these children a loose parts play experiences as they use anything and everything to create these structures. Sometimes it looks chaotic, but the team work, critical thinking, and creativity is unimaginable. We have been seeking stuff from the community to have materials for their structures. If anyone has anything they can donate to our play, that would be amazing. They do not have to be new! If anything, used pieces are better. We are looking for pallets, tarps, tires, and wood scraps, crates, cardboard tubes, old PVC pipes, old downspouts, really anything!

If anyone has any items they wish to contribute to the children's play we would be so grateful. You can drop them off THURSDAY EVENING or FRIDAY MORNING against the building's walls (303 Cameron St South) upon drop off. Please do so near the back of the arena by the park and our dumpster. I am sure the children would be willing to help you load anything so that it is not just on you to pack for their play.

Anything you can drop off can be put against our front entrance area on Thursday evening or Friday morning. Thank you so very much!

Organizations with daytime youth programs or Summer Camp leaders of Timmins :  we have just realized that our week without camps (August 3-7, 2026) presents an opportunity for you and your group to utilize our centre for a slot during the day. Normally, during the summer, we cannot accommodate due to conflicting with our own camp.

Please reach out if you would like to secure a slot for your group to take advantage of our centre daytime during that period.
