IT’S THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!

This time next week, the docs and our MKDA dancers will hit the dance floor at the Dante Club for DANCING WITH THE DOCS!!!

One of the hottest tickets in town… and if you’ve ever tried to grab one, you KNOW you need fast fingers. Those tickets disappear FAST!!! But the best part? ALL funds raised go to the Timmins & District Hospital! Every rehearsal, every performance and every donation is about giving back to our hospital and the community!!!

Behind all that show-night excitement are HOURS of rehearsals, hard work and probably a whole lot of “let’s try that again!” The docs and our MKDA dancers volunteer their OWN time to make this fundraiser happen, and we could not be prouder of them!

Kinsley is receiving this bursary for last season, and we’ll announce a new recipient at this year’s banquet! Your hard work and love for dance deserve this recognition, Kinsley. We’re SO proud of you!

1. What’s your role at MKDA for Season 22? Teacher assistant for Level 2 and Level 3 hip hop.

2.How long have you been part of the MKDA family? This is my 8th year!

3.What’s your favourite thing about being part of MKDA? Getting to help younger dancers, going to competitions, meeting new people, learning new choreography from our awesome teachers, and dancing with my friends.

4.What’s something about you our MKDA families might not know?
When I am not dancing, I love playing sports, working on my tumbling and staying active.

MEET THE PEOPLE BEHIND SEASON 22!
✨⭐️✨⭐️✨⭐️✨
This season, we’re introducing you to ALL the incredible people who help keep MKDA running the way it does! From our teachers and teacher assistants to our office staff, security team and the amazing volunteers who continue to show up time and time again there are so many special people working both inside the studio and behind the scenes.

Miss Jen will be putting everyone in the spotlight and asking them the
SAME 5 questions so our MKDA families can get to know them a little better!!!

Trust us… you’re going to want to follow along because we have A LOT of incredible people to introduce. And OBVIOUSLY, we have to start with the owner, the main choreographer and the woman whose name is literally on the building…

The fact that, after 22 years of teaching, I still get nervous on week #1 of our season...I just want everything to be perfect and everyone to be happy.

BUTTTTmost importantly,
we’ve seen a whole lot of BIG smiles!
I think it’s safe to say the first two weeks of Season 22 have been a HUGE success. We’re back, we’re happy and we’re only getting started!
